Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ November edition

Happy November!  The year is flying by isn't it? The holiday season is upon us. I love the start of a new month because that means it's time for a new kit!  As the Fall season comes to a close I am hoping to finish the year strong and bash some stash! So without further adieu let's kick off the November edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure for 2024!!
Here is how our 2024 challenge works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kit as possible on different projects. Then, somewhere along the way we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2024. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our Stash Bash kit recipe for this month:

Now for my November kit:
This month I chose just one kit and I am loving these fun Fall colors!  I am planning to use this kit to make a gratitude journal as well as some Fall layouts!

The "A" side of my papers:
These papers are almost all from the Simple Stories Harvest Market collection, except for the green dot paper which is from Bella Blvd's One Fall Day collection.

The "B" sides of my papers:

The embellishments for my kit:
The embellishments for this kit are super fun and are all from the Simple Stories Harvest Market collection.

The scraps:
Some of these scraps are from the Simple Stories Harvest Market collection the rest are from different manufacturers including the whie notebook and grid papers which are from Scenic Route, what a blast from the past!!

This month's stash bash item: Stamps:
All of the clear stamps are from CTMH.  The smaller boxes of stamps are from Stampin' Up and are letter stamps.  Unfortunately I have not ever used some of these stamps despite having them in my stash for years!  I hope to at least use a stamp or two from each set this month!
Here are the rules for 2024:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!
This month's stash bash item is:   stamps
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2024
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2024.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ August edition!

Happy August!  The heat continues on full blast here in Texas, making it the perfect weather for staying inside and crafting!  I love the start of a new month because that means it's time for a new kit!  I did not do as well as I wanted using up my July kit, so I may have to use more of that kit this month, I just created one layout! Yikes!  Here's to hoping August is more productive!  So without further adieu let's kick off the August edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure for 2024!!

Now for my August kit:
For this month I again decided on one larger kit.  I hope to use this kit to document my remaining Summer photos as well as some just "everyday" photos!

The "A" sides of my papers:
My papers are from the following collections:  Echo Park A Day in the Life No.2 collection (pink heart, light blue, floral, olive green, navy and grid papers), Carta Bella Summer collection (large floral, red dot and striped papers) and Fancy Pants Trendsetter collection (woodgrain paper)

My embellishments:
My embellishments for this month are so fun!  I picked three 12 x 12 sticker sheets from the following collections: Echo Park A Day in the Life, Echo Park A Day in the Life No. 2, and Carta Bella Summer.  The cut apart sheet is from Crate Paper Sweet Story.  The ephemera icons are from Carta Bella Summer and the ephemera words are from the My Pretty Little Studios Sunkissed collection.  The cut out word "SUNSHINE" is from an older embellishment kit from The Scraproom.  And finally, the epoxy hearts are from The Hip Kit Club This Beautiful Life collection.

My scraps & stash bash item (washi tape):
My scraps are from Echo Park's A Day in the Life collection (cut apart cards, striped paper & blue paper), Carta Bella's Summer Market collection (yellow gingham), and Echo Park Our Story Matters collection (plaid).  My washi tapes are for the most part so old I can't remember where I got them!  Some are not open yet and those are from Daiso (lower right strawberry washi), Felicity Jane (black/white grid washi) and Illustrated Faith (blue floral washi).  I have so much washi that I hope to make even a little dent in using some up this month!

Now for my June kit:
This month I am going with one large kit.  I hope to use this kit to make a vacation album of our recent vacation!  Most of my kit is from the Simple Stories Safe Travels collection with a few miscellaneous things thrown in!

The "A" sides of my papers:

My embellishments:
All the embellishments are from the Simple Stories Safe Travels collection except the words in the lower right corner which are from the Vicki Boutin Where to Next collection.  What a fun collection of embellishments! I have Thickers, chipboard, puffy stickers and ephemera!

My scraps:
I am not sure where the yellow and pink scraps are from but the multi grid and the rust floral papers in the upper left are from the Simple Stories Safe travels collection.

My stash bash item: cut apart/Project Life cards:
A while back I had re-organized my project life cards into sections and these cards were in the travel section, that has helped me locate cards for specific themes so much easier! So glad I took the hour or more to organize them!  I did inlcude cut apart tags as this month's stash bash item as you can see.  All the cut apart cards/tags are from the Simple Stories Safe Travels collection, with the exception of the second tag sheet in the upper left which is from the PhotoPlay Paper Traveloque collection.  The Project Life type cards in the bottom right corner are from an unknown source but a few may be from Elle's Studio.
