TN Time with Lisa & Lori ~ August edition!!

Happy August!!  I can't believe another month has flown by but it has!! It's time to kick off another edition of TN Time with Lisa & Lori so let's get the party started!!

HERE IS HOW OUR CHALLENGE WORKS: This is a monthly challenge that launches on the 10th of each month  You will have until the 9th at midnight CST to link up your entries. If you complete my sketch challenge link your TN, bullet journal or planner spread below. If you combined my challenge with Lori's challenge link up your spread here on my blog AND on Lori's Blog (My Happy Life). For 2021 we are making this challenge a "just for fun" challenge with no prize, but isn't the real prize just documenting your memories and getting more pages done in 2021???!!!!
Now for my challenge!! Here is this month's sketch:

Now for Lori's Challenge for August (August 10th-September 9th):

Now for my spread using the sketch & Lori's challenge:
Supplies Used: Patterned Papers: Echo Park Little Dreamer and Jen Hadfield Reaching Out; stickers: Carta Bella Summer & puffy sticker: Simple Stories Safe Travels, ephemera (circle): Vicki Boutin Field Notes; enamel dots: Simple Stories I Am & Echo Park The Story of our Family

I'm going back to play catch up in my 2021 TN and this spread is from March, I had taken this selfie with my son on a walk we went on one day when he came to pay a visit and I had not put it in my TN.  Now I am up to date on the pictures I want to use in my TN!!  Feels good to be up to date (although 2020 still needs a few spreads completed!!)

Now for a few close ups:
I love pink and this pink plaid was so pretty I knew I just had to use it on my spread!  I had a hard time finding the exact look I wanted so I ended up combining stickers and papers from different lines to get that Spring feel since this picture was back at the end of March!

As you can see I ended up adding an extra strip of paper at the bottom of the left page as it felt kind of bare as I didn't have a very long title.  To offset my title and this added strip I also added another sticker!  I have so many stickers and many of them are from 12 x 12 sticker sheets like these were so I was glad Lori picked stickers as part of the challenge this month!

Now for the nitty gritty of how to play along:

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2021 ~ August Edition!

Happy August!  It's a new month and that means it's time for another edition of The Great Stash Bash with Lisa & Lori!  It's been so hot here in Texas that staying inside and getting crafty is the perfect plan right now!!  So let's get this party started with the August edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2021!!

For those who are new to the challenge here is how it works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kits as possible on different projects. Then, on the last day of the month, we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2021. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our August challenge:

Here are the rules for 2021:
This month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and some stickers!!!
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but please concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic and a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2021
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!
This month I decided to do 2 mini kits again!!
Here are my 2 mini kits using this month's prompts:
KIT #1:
For this kit I decided to pull out almost all the colors of the rainbow!! These papers are all from the Echo Park Little Dreamer collection that I just purchased with one of my gift cards for my birthday!!  For the embellishments I added the 12 x 12 sticker sheet from Echo Park's Little Dreamer Girl collection, some fun 3D and enamel embellishments from Pinkfresh Studio's Office Hours collection and some alphabet stickers from the Hip Kit Flourish Collection- this pink is a perfect match for this kit!!

Now for kit #2:
These papers are a fun collection of a bunch of different manufacturers!  I have 3 papers from the Reminisce Be Kind collection, 1 from the Echo Park Little Dreamer Girl collection (blue plaid), 1 from the Crate Paper Fresh Bouquet collection- rust floral, 1 from the Crate Paper Marigold collection-pink dot & 2 papers from the Jen Hadfield This is Family collection- words & coral dot.  For embellishments I added some black American Crafts Thicker alphas, a 12 x 12 sticker sheet from the Reminisce Be Kind collection and some enamel hearts (unknown source).

Here are my scraps:
These papers are from the Photo Play Paper Wild Honey Collection-black dot and gold dot; Carta Bella It's a Girl collection- pink hearts and pink/coral plaid; Jen Hadfield This is Family- black plaid; Simple Stories O Happy Day-white w/ black dots; and Graphic 45- pink grid. I had a hard time this month finding scraps to match my papers as the pink and yellow are kinds of a weird shade!  Amazingly I have very few black scraps!

Here are all my embellishments grouped together!  Technically they are all stickers this month some 3D, cardstock, alphabet and enamel stickers!  As bonus I added a few extra embellishments that coordinate with each kit.  I added in 12 x 12 sticker sheets from Photo Play Free Bird and Carta Bella It's a Girl lines.  I also added some gold word stickers from Pebbles The Avenue line!  I think these embellishments will look great with my papers and I am hoping to use some of them up as they have been in my stash for far to long!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2021.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!
