July 1st sketch @ Sketch N Scrap!

Good morning!  Today I am sharing a layout I created with the July 1st sketch at Sketch N Scrap!  Here is the July 1st sketch created by the talented Stacy:

Here is the layout I created with this fun sketch:
Supplies Used: Cardstock: White- Bazzill; Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye Peachy Keen, Carta Bella Summer Market, Jen Hadfield My Bright Life, & Hip Kit Club Delightful; Stickers: Pink Fresh Studios Joyful Day; Letter Stickers: Hip Kit Club Pretty Sweet; Ephemera: Pink Fresh Studios Joyful Day; enamel dots: My Mind's Eye; wood veneer flower: Hip Kit Club Summer Bliss.

I loved this sketch and am hoping to use it again real soon!  I used my July Great Stash Bash kit for this layout and was happy with how many different papers and embellishments I was able to use on this layout! These adorable sisters are my friend's granddaughters and I thought their cute dresses were perfect for these papers and my July Great Stash Bash kit!  Even though I used a number of my papers on this layout I am looking at my kit realizing that I didn't make too much of a dent in my kit lol!  I guess I better get to work as the month is almost half over!!  You can learn more about my July Stash Bash kit HERE.  Make sure and visit the Sketch N Scrap blog to see the amazing layouts the other DT members created with this fun sketch!  Happy creating!!

TN Time with Lisa & Lori ~ July edition!

Happy weekend!! Are you getting some creative time this weekend?  I sure hope so!!!  It's time to kick off our next edition of TN Time with Lisa & Lori!!  So let's get this party started!

Now for my challenge!! Here is this month's sketch:

Now for Lori's Challenge for July (July 10th-August 9th):

What a fun challenge! Red, Blue, and stars are certainly pertinent to July here in the USA!!!
Here is my layout using the sketch and Lori's challenge:

Supplies Used:  Patterned Papers: Echo Park A Slice of Summer & Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse; cardstock: Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette; stickers: Echo Park A Slice of Summer & Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse; letter stickers: Bella Blvd; ephemera: Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse & Elle's Studio; puffy stickers (stars & hearts): Elle's Studio; wood hearts: Studio Calico
I used both red and blue papers as well as red and blue in my embellishments!  For the stars I used a combination of a wood veneer star and a puffy sticker star!  I love the farmhouse feel to this layout so I didn't want to go all out with large stars but though these smaller stars were a perfect complement!!

Now for a few close ups:

I didn't do a formal title, instead I just added the year for where the title is in the sketch and added a few puffy stickers and a dragon fly sticker to accent my title!

I love this woodgrain paper!! I think it goes so beautifully with the plaid strips!

Now for the nitty gritty of how to play along:

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2021 ~ July edition

Happy July!! It's a new month so that means it's time for another edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash!!  It's the time of year when manufacturers start to announce their Fall and Christmas lines so that means you are probably ready to bash some stash in order to make room for some new goodies...so let's get the party started with our July edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2021 challenge!!

For those who are new to the challenge here is how it works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kits as possible on different projects. Then, on the last day of the month, we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2021. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our July challenge:

Here are the rules for 2021:
This month we will create a kit with 10 papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and some enamel dots!!!
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but please concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic and a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2021
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!
This month I decided to do 2 mini kits again!!
Here are my 2 mini kits using this month's prompts:
KIT #1:
For this kit I decided to use some Summer Themed papers/stickers from the Carta Bella Summer Line.  I also added papers from the Jen Hadfield My Bright Life (red plaid) and The Hip Kit Strawberry Crush (black dot).  To complement the sticker sheet from Carta Bella Summer I added 2 sets of alphas one from Pink Fresh Studios and the other from American Crafts.  Then a set of wood veneers from The Hip Kit and some stickers from the Carta Bella Summer Market.

KIT #2:
For this kit I used papers from the Fancy Pants Peachy Keen line and added in a few papers to complement them from the following lines:  Hip Kit Pretty Sweet, Hip Kit Delightful, Carta Bella Farm to Table & Pink Fresh Studios Happy Blooms.  My embellishments are from the Fancy Pants Peach Keen line (ephemera), Pink Fresh Studios & Joyful Days line (ephemera & cardstock stickers).

Now for a close up of the papers from each kit:
