Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ July edition!

Happy July!  The heat is on full blast here in Texas, I sure hope it's cooler where you are, but the heat makes it the perfect weather for staying inside and crafting!  I love the start of a new month because that means it's time for a new kit!   So without further adieu let's kick off the July edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure for 2024!!

Here is how our 2024 challenge works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kit as possible on different projects. Then, somewhere along the way we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2024. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our Stash Bash kit recipe for this month:

Now for my July kit:
I plan to use this kit to document our Summer!  I love these colors and think they will be perfect for almost any of the Summertime fun events that I will document!

The "A" sides of my papers:
All my papers are from the Echo Park My Favorite Summer collection.

The "B" sides of my papers:

My embellishments:
I think these embellishments are so much fun! The 12 x 12 sticker sheet and the cut apart cards are from the Echo Park My Favorite Summer collection.  The enamel dots are from Pebbles Inc.  The puffy stickers are from Elle's Studio's Family Fun line.  The ephemera is from Carta Bella's Summer collection and Cocoa Vanilla's Sunkissed collection.

My scraps:
These scraps are from various manufacturers.  The yellow and bottom left orange scrap are from Stampin' Up.  The bottom right orange scrap is from Chatterbox, and is VERY OLD! The remaining scraps are from the Echo Park My Favorite Summer collection!

My stash bash item for this month: ALPHAS:
All my alpas are Thickers this month, I could have added a lot more as I have so many but I thought these alphas give me plenty of choices!

Here are the rules for 2024:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!
This month's stash bash item is:  Alphas
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2024
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2024.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ June edition!

Happy June!  Didn't May fly by?  I don't know about you but it seems the older I get the faster time goes!! I didn't get to craft as much as I would have liked last month, due to our vacation but I did get 4 layouts and 2 cards done, so I will claim it as a win!  Since it's the start of a new month it's time for a new kit!   So without further adieu let's kick off the June edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure for 2024!!

Now for our Stash Bash kit recipe for this month:

Now for my June kit:
This month I am going with one large kit.  I hope to use this kit to make a vacation album of our recent vacation!  Most of my kit is from the Simple Stories Safe Travels collection with a few miscellaneous things thrown in!

The "A" sides of my papers:
All the papers are from the Simple Stories Safe Travels collection, except the black words paper which is from the PhotoPlay Paper Traveloque collection and the green dot paper which is from the Simple Stories Color Vibes Bold Collection.

The "B" sides of my papers:

My embellishments:
All the embellishments are from the Simple Stories Safe Travels collection except the words in the lower right corner which are from the Vicki Boutin Where to Next collection.  What a fun collection of embellishments! I have Thickers, chipboard, puffy stickers and ephemera!

My scraps:
I am not sure where the yellow and pink scraps are from but the multi grid and the rust floral papers in the upper left are from the Simple Stories Safe travels collection.

My stash bash item: cut apart/Project Life cards:
A while back I had re-organized my project life cards into sections and these cards were in the travel section, that has helped me locate cards for specific themes so much easier! So glad I took the hour or more to organize them!  I did inlcude cut apart tags as this month's stash bash item as you can see.  All the cut apart cards/tags are from the Simple Stories Safe Travels collection, with the exception of the second tag sheet in the upper left which is from the PhotoPlay Paper Traveloque collection.  The Project Life type cards in the bottom right corner are from an unknown source but a few may be from Elle's Studio.

EMBELLISHMENTS & STASH BASH ITEM (DOILIES):

I love this fun collection of embellishments!  The ephemera pieces are from Doodlebug Designs Lots of Love collection.  The stickers are from the Doodlebug Designs My Happy Place collection (12x12) and Doodlebug Designs Love Notes collection. The fun epoxy hearts with faces are from Doodlebug Designs.  The doilies are from Stampin' Up (white) and Paper Studios (red).
