Dotted Love inspiration!

I am so excited to share with you my projects for Lori's CTMH Design Team!   This month I received the mini stamp Dotted Love to work with, this stamp was so much fun to create with, it made me want EVERY mini stamp in the catalog as I can see endless possibilities with them!  This is a great way to get started with stamping if you are new to it for a relatively low cost!  Here are the 2 cards I created using the Dotted Love mini stamp and the Babycakes papers!
Supplies Used: Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie & Chocolate Chip SU;
 Patterned Paper: Babycakes CTMH; Ink: Chocolate Chip SU;  ribbon: Grey by
SU' sticker: Jillibean Soup; Bling: Kasiercraft. punch: CM corner rounder

Supplies Used: Cardstock: Very Vanilla & Chocolate Chip SU;
Patterned Paper:  CTMH Babycakes; Stamp set: Dotted Love CTMH & Everyday
Flexible Phrases SU;  Ink: Chocolate chip SU; Punch: windowpunch by SU;
bling: Kaisercraft.
 As you can see, these papers aren't just for babies!  I think they make a great friend and Anniversary card don't you?  I plan the use the first card for my parent's anniversary and the second for a dear friend who is always doing such sweet things for me!  I plan to include a Starbucks gift card in it as a RAK.  Please stop by Lori's website to browse the amazing selection of stamps, inks, paper, and scrapbooking supplies, if you see something you can't live without (and I know you will!) then join my online gathering and place your order by clicking on LISA's MY CREATIVE ENDEAVORS SENT ME.  Make sure and let me know what you picked out, I'd love to see if it's on my wish list too!

Sketch N Scrap #10

Time for the last sketch of September over at Sketch N Scrap!  Does that mean we are officially saying good bye to Summer?  I guess it must, because we FINALLY got a nice breeze and temperatures BELOW 90 yesterday, so us Texans are feeling the Fall Ya'll!!!  Football just doesn't seem as much fun when its 98 degrees.
  Here is the sketch I designed for this week's challenge:
And here is my take on it:
Supplies Used: Cardstock: Stampin Up; Patterned Paper: Jillibean Soup; sticker:
Jillibean Soup; Die cut: Jillibean Soup; Punch: EK Success; bling: Queen & Co

I was originally going to make a fall card using leaves instead but found the punch I had in mind was just a bit too large to make the leaves look good on this design...so when I saw this little sticker, the last on its page sitting by its tiny self on my desk, I designed a card around it! lol!  Love me some Jillibean Soup! Not only can you use it for cute layouts but adorable cards as well from your scraps!   This sketch is awesome to use up some scraps, so let's see your creations with it!  You can even win a $15 gift certificate to THE MEMORY NEST!!!  Now that would be grand huh?  To play along you must upload your card by September 30th at midnight CST  HERE.  Oh, and hop on over to Sketch N Scrap you won't believe what the Guest Designers and Design Team members did with this sketch!  Very inspiring!

Card sketch #9

Is anyone else excited about the upcoming holidays besides me?  I love decorating for Halloween, Fall, and Christmas as well as baking, and making cards for these fun holidays.  Every year I say I need to start earlier, so this year I actually did! I decided to use Sketch N Scrap's first card sketch for this month to get started!  Here is the fun sketch by Kelly:

And here is my Halloween card using it:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper- Stampin Up; cardstock: Stampin up; punches: Paper
Shapers star, Stampin Up Scallop circle and circle punch; Stamp: Stampin Up; Ink: Only
 Orange Stampin Up;  bling: Kaisercrafts; Twine: Doodlebug

This card is going to be for my youngest nephew who lives out of state.  He is not old enough yet for "scary" stuff, so I thought this was super cute and not scary at all.  The inside greeting is an old stamp by CTMH that says "Just a little greeting to wish you happy trick or treating!"....love this sentiment!   But that's not all, I just couldn't resist this sketch, so many possibilities, I think I could have made 10 more cards with it (if I just had more hours in the day) but I did manage to make one more card using the same sketch....here it is:

Supplies Used: Cardstock: Stampin Up; Patterned Paper: Jillibean Soup; ink: Basic Brown
Stampin Up; Stamp: Stampin Up; Sentiment sticker: Jillibean Soup.

This card was made for a friend who has a late summer birthday.  I flipped the sketch for this one as I thought it accommodated the sentiment better.  I didn't use ribbon due to having to mail it and not wanting it to be too bulky.  I really like this sketch flipped, you can't even tell both cards are from the same sketch! So folks, once you use a sketch once, don't be scared to use it again...no one but you will ever know! Another fun fact about this card, it allowed me to use up some scraps from one of my older kits, I most likely can make about 2 -3 more cards from this kit and it will be used up...love using scraps for cards!
I hope you will join us at Sketch N Scrap this month, we have an awesome sponsor this month, The Memory Nest is offering up a $15 gift certificate to one lucky randomly drawn winner!  But you can't win if you don't play so check the details on how to enter to win using one of our FOUR sketches each month! You also won't want to miss what our DT did with this sketch! Check it out HERE!
