Happy November! So sorry to post late this month but I ended up being under the weather last week and I wasn't able to post yesterday, but I am on the mend now! It's a new month and time to launch another fun edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure! I didn't use up my entire kit last month but I did create 1 layout using my fun kit which is a great start to my travel journal! I hope to work on a few more layouts using the kit before the end of the year, so stay tuned! With the holidays upon us it gets harder to spend time in my craft room, but I plan to make every effort to carve out some creative time to keep my sanity as we move into the busiest time of the year!! Now without further adieu let's kick off the November edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2026!!
Here is how our 2026 challenge works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kit as possible on different projects. Then, somewhere along the way we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash? We hope you will join us on our quest to bash some stash in 2026. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog My Happy Life (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!
HERE IS OUR RECIPE FOR THIS MONTH:
I decided to go with a Christmas kit this month, as I plan to do a December daily this year, so I wanted to have the album started before December arrived!!
As you can see I have a mix of 6 x 8 and 12 x 12 papers. I have picked a black cardstock and dotted green cardstock from Bazzill. All these papers are from the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Dear Santa collection!
My embellishments:
For my embellishments this month I chose the cut apart 3 x 4 and 4 x 6 sheets from the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Dear Santa collection as well as the ephemera and cut apart tags from the same collection. I love the vintage vibe of this collection!
My stash bash item & alphas:
I didn't get the 12 x 12 sticker sheet from the Simple Vintage Dear Santa collection so I am using some other Christmas 12 x 12 sticker sheets from my stash instead. These sticker sheets are from Simple Stories Simple Vintage Holly Jolly collection (top left), Echo Park Home For Christmas (top right) & Carta Bella's Letters to Santa (bottom right). Both alphas are from American Craft Thickers.
I also decided to throw in some Fall themed 12 x 12 sticker sheets in case I decided to work on some Fall projects as well! These sticker sheets are from the Echo Park Fall Fever collection (left) & PhotoPlay Paper's Autumn Greetings collection (right).
I hope you will join us this month!!!
Here are the rules for 2026:
Each month we will create a kit using the recipe (found above) of 3-5 patterned papers of any size (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to you!), 2-3 embellishments, 2-3 pieces of cardstock, alphas and our stash bash item!
This month's stash bash item is: 12 x 12 sticker sheets
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2026
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash! We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!! You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!
I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash! Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2026. I can't wait to see your kit! If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!! Happy creating!!
LISA
