Card Fun!!

TFIG!!  I am SOOO ready for the weekend, how about you?  I always find some time for creating on the weekends but the weekdays it's hit or miss and lately it has been more miss!!  Today I am sharing two fun cards I created for challenges at Sketch N Scrap!  The first card was created using the March 5th sketch at Sketch N Scrap!  Here is the fun sketch by Heather Hall:

Here is my card using this fun sketch:
Supplies Used: Card base: CTMH; Patterned Paper: Echo Park Happy Birthday Boy; stickers: (lion) Echo Park Happy Birthday Boy & (celebrate) Carta Bella Let's Celebrate; black pen: Le Pen; Cardstock: Stampin' Up Sky Blue & Daffodil Delight; circle die: Stampin' Up.

I love the way this card turned out, this is a great sketch and one I know I will use again!!  Next up is a card I created for Sketch N Scrap's Card Classic Rewind challenge on Facebook.  This month's challenge is to use card sketch #81 to create a card!  Here is the sketch:

Here is my card using this sketch from 2016:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Pebbles Live Life Happy, American Crafts Never Grow Up, Photo Play Paper Fern & Willard & KI Memories (pink hearts); Card stock: Stampin' Up Whisper White; stickers: PhotoPlay Paper Fern & Willard; pens: Black Le Pen & White Pen Signo

This card was a made from scraps that were lying on my desk and the Photo Play Fern & Willard sticker sheet I got in my ScrapRoom Double Shot kit this month!  I thought this cute frog was so adorable I knew I wanted to use it on this card!! It felt great to use up some scraps, still trying to keep my scrap bin under control on a regular basis to avoid it overflowing!! I hope you will join us on Facebook and play along with both our Classic Card OR Classic Layout sketch Rewind Challenges as we use some oldie but goodie sketches from years past!!  You can find Sketch N Scrap on Facebook HERE.  Have a creative weekend!

TN Time with Lisa & Lori~ March edition!!

Happy Hump Day!  Last month just flew by and now it's time for a new monthly challenge!! This one is a lot of fun so let's get the party started!!

HERE IS HOW OUR CHALLENGE WORKS: This is a monthly challenge that launches on the 10th of each month  You will have until the 9th at midnight CST to link up your entries. If you complete my sketch challenge link your TN, bullet journal or planner spread below. If you combined my challenge with Lori's challenge link up your spread here on my blog AND on Lori's Blog (My Happy Life). For 2021 we are making this challenge a "just for fun" challenge with no prize, but isn't the real prize just documenting your memories and getting more pages done in 2021???!!!!
Now for my challenge!! Here is this month's sketch:

Now for Lori's March challenge (March 10th-April 9th):

What a fun challenge!  Green just screams March doesn't it?!!!
Here is my spread using both the sketch & Lori's challenge:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: American Crafts She's Magic by Dear Lizzy; stickers: Echo Park Coffee & Friends; enamel hearts: Pink Paislee Lucky Us; tag: Unknown; letter stickers: Hip Kit Club Cozy Up

Now for a few close ups:
I love that Starbucks main color is green and for some reason when I was thinking of a layout using green I immediately thought of this Starbucks picture my niece and I took last December!  This Dear Lizzy paper is one I have been hoarding but decided it was perfect for this photo and dug it out!!  I decided to go with a bolder title, it just looked better then the smaller letter stickers I tried to use at first.

I am not sure where I got this tag but when I was digging through my box of tags I immediately pulled this one out, I love how it looks with this fun coffee sticker!  I decided to use two banners instead of a tab at the top under my sticker, I thought it balanced out the layout better.  I loved these coffee stickers and was so glad to get to use them in my TN!!

Now for the nitty gritty of how to play along:

I had a lot of fun using this fun sketch and kit!!  I don't normally even remember when it is St Patrick's Day and don't observe it so I didn't have any pictures of the holiday so instead I went with some pictures of my friends' daughter in law and adorable little "leprechauns" for my layout!!  The sketch made putting together this layout fast and easy!!  Make sure and head on over to the Sketch N Scrap blog to see how the other DT members used this sketch!!  And if you are wanting your very own March Flavors of the Month kit make sure and visit The ScrapRoom store to get yours now!!  Happy creating!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash ~ March edition!

Happy March!!  Wow, less days makes the month zoom by!!  I'm looking forward to Spring aren't you?? A new month always gets me excited to start something new and it's time to kick off another month of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash of 2021!!  So let's dive in and get this party started!!!

For those who are new to the challenge here is how it works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kits as possible on different projects. Then, on the last day of the month, we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash? You never know - if we still have a few unused stash items after a few months, then those items may just go into a giveaway. We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2021. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our March challenge:

Here are the rules for 2021:
This month we will create a kit with 10 papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and some washi tape!!!

1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but please concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic and a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2021
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!
Here is my kit using this month's prompts:
My 10 different patterned papers:
My papers this month are from Stampin' Up (green word); Simple Stories St. Patrick's Day; Fancy Pants Trend Setter (woodgrain); Dear Lizzy It's All Good (navy/pink); Crate Paper Oasis (navy w/ pink diamonds); and Echo Park Splendid Sunshine.  I love the greens, navy and light/dark pink!!  I'm excited to use this color combo which is not one I use often!  I think these papers will be great for Spring or Summer pics!!  What a great mix of manufacturers in this kit!
Here are my scrap papers:
These papers are from Simple Stories Oh Happy Day (dark pink stripe), CTMH Beautiful Friendship (navy flower); Simple Stories St Patrick's Day (multi floral); Stampin' Up (pink- unknown line) and the pink plaid is unknown but it must be pretty old as it is only single sided!!  I didn't pull a lot of scraps this month as I really don't have a lot of navy scraps and the pinks in this kit are kind of unique and hard to match!!

My embellishments:
These are from Echo Park Splendid Sunshine (12 x 12 sticker sheets -2); Simple Stories St Patrick's Day (6 x 12 sticker sheet); American Crafts Dear Lizzy Darling Details (chipboard stickers) and Dear Lizzy She's Magic enamel shapes!  I love these enamel shapes and have been hoarding them for far to long!  I'm excited to continue to use up some 12 x 12 sticker sheets this month!!

My Bash item : washi tape
These rolls of washi are from Vicki Boutin, Simple Stories, Crate Paper and Prima Marketing....I don't remember the brands of them all but I think it is a good representation of the colors in this kit!  I don't know about you but I have SOOO much washi!!  I am excited to use some of it up this month!
I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash this month!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2021.  I can't wait to see your kit!  Happy creating!!
