Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022 ~ April Edition!!!

Happy April!  I have been missing in action around here the past month, unfortunately my Dad passed away last month so I have not been up to blogging for awhile. However, it's a new month and I know he would want me to get back to the things I love, so I am starting the new month off with a new edition of The Great Stash Bash Adventure with Lisa & Lori!!  With my Dad's illness I did not get to use my March kit as much as I would have like, but I hoping this month I will be successful at bashing some stash!  So without further adieu let's get the party started with the April edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022!!

For those who are new to the challenge here is how it works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kits as possible on different projects. Then, on the last day of the month, we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2022. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our April Challenge:

Here are the rules for 2022:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!  This month's stash bash item is Flowers!!
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2022
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!

This month I decided to do 2 kits again!
Here is my first April kit :
I stuck with just 5 papers and a few scraps with each kit this month, hoping to make myself more successful in bashing my stash!

A close up of the papers and scraps:
The papers are from Crate Paper Marigold (black diamond and pink), Heidi Swapp Carefree (ledger), Crate Paper Garden Party (stripe & floral), Amy Tangerine Brave and Bold (blue/green dot).   The scraps are from Amy Tangerine Brave and Bold and the plaid is from a CTMH Mix In kit.

My embellishments and stash item (flowers):
These embellishments are stickers sheets from Crate Paper Garden Party, Marigold and Willow Lane.  I also have Thickers from the Garden Party line.  The cut apart cards are from Crate Paper but I don't know which line.  The crystals are from Prima.  I also have a few pieces of ephemera left from my Amy Tangerine Brave and Bold ScrapRoom kit so I included those in here as well.  The flowers are just misc ones I have had in my stash FOREVER!!
This kit is full of Crate Paper!! I love Crate Paper and these are some older papers/embellishments I need to use up to justify buying more!!  I have a lot of just everyday life pictures with the family outdoors and I think these papers will complement those pictures nicely!  I can't wait to dig into this fun kit!

My second April kit:

A close up of the papers and scraps:
All the papers are from the CTMH collection called So Much Happy.  The scraps are from Echo Park (yellow) and Pink Fresh Studios although I no longer can recall the collections they are from.

My embellishments and stash item (flowers):
These embellishments are from Pink Fresh Studios Joyful Day (word strips & journaling bits), CTMH So much Happy & Fancy Pants Happy Place (ephemera).

This bright and bold kit is so fun!  Like Crate Paper I LOVE CTMH papers, however, instead of using them I tend to hoard them!!  So throughout the rest of the year I am going to try and use up some of these papers so I can justify buying more!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2022.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!

  1. First, deepest sympathies for the passing of your father. My dad's been gone just over 13 years and I still miss him. Virtual hugs. Your 2 April kits are spring fresh and will have so many possibilities to mix and match! I look forward to seeing your April projects!

  2. I love your kits! Our colors are very similar and I added in quite a few Maggie Holmes sticker sheets and sticker books to my kit, too! Like you said - great minds think alike! I hope that you can find some time to get creative and I look forward to seeing your creations!
