TN Time with Lisa & Lori ~ July edition

TGIF!  Are  you ready for the weekend???  I sure am!  Today we are kicking off the July edition of our TN Time with Lisa & Lori challenge and it's a fun one!!  So let's get this  party started!!

HERE IS HOW OUR CHALLENGE WORKS: This is a monthly challenge that launches on the 10th of each month  You will have until the 9th at midnight CST to link up your entries. If you complete my sketch challenge link your TN, bullet journal or planner spread below. If you combined my challenge with Lori's challenge link up your spread here on my blog AND on Lori's Blog (My Happy Life).  You will then have a chance to win my prize as well as Lori's prize!  That's a chance to win TWO times with ONE layout! WOW!

Now for my challenge!! Here is this month's sketch:

Now for Lori's fun challenge (July 10th-August 9th):

So break out those circle punches & dies and let's see a few circles on those spreads!!!  Have fun with it ladies!
Here is my layout using both the sketch and Lori's use at least one circular element on your spread challenge:  For my circular elements I used two fun piece of ephemera from Simple Stories Domestic Bliss & a fun chipboard circle that says Scenic View from Pink Fresh Studios!
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Simple Stories Domestic Bliss & Crate Paper & American Crafts; letter stickers: Jillibean Soup; word strips: PhotoPlay Paper, Jillibean Soup & Simple Stories; ephemera: Simple Stories Domestic Bliss; chipboard circle (Scenic Route): PinkFresh Studios; enamel dots: Pebbles; ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; date stamp: Illustrated Faith

Now for a few close ups:

My son moved to his very first apartment in June after his college graduation!  He was really wanting a downtown skyline view which was a bit challenging to find in his price range, but luckily he was able to find this beautiful view and stay within his budget!! He is loving living downtown where he can walk everywhere.  This place is also close to his new job so it is just perfect for him!  I love to visit and take in the view when I can!

I didn't have time to do my journaling yet, I am still planning what I want to say and plan to handwrite it on the layout, so I am wanting to make it a bit more concise.  I will post a picture with the journaling when I finish it!  Now it's your turn to play along!!
