Today I am sharing a fun card I made using the Tis the Season paper packet.
I knew I wanted to use it for my Christmas cards the minute I saw it, the patterns and colors are so elegant!! Here is my card made using these beautiful papers:
Supplies Used: Card base- CTMH; Patterned Paper- CTMH Tis the Season; Cardstock: White & Candy Apple- CTMH; gems: Gold Glitter -CTMH; Thin Cuts: Fancy Tags & Stitched Circle- CTMH
As you can see I used the new Fancy Tags Thin Cuts to cut out my circle element. I decided the white was to stark so I added a large stitched circle to the inside to make it more colorful. I love this look, AND the stitched circle hides the hole in the tag that I wanted to cover up. I didn't want to add ribbon to this tag as I need to mail it and didn't want it to be so bulky.
Now for my second project using the Tis the Season paper packet.....I have actually bought ONE Christmas gift for my niece and decided to wrap it early as she has a way of finding my "hidden" gifts when she visits!! I wanted to make a pretty handmade tag for her special gift so I created this fun tag:
Supplies Used: Cardstock: CTMH- White Daisy & New England Ivy; Thin Cuts: Fancy Tags- CTMH; Patterned Paper: Tis the Season- CTMH; gems: Gold Glitter Gems- CTMH; twine: White & Gold Twine- CTMH; gold cording: my stash
Once again I am using this fun set of Thin Cuts- Fancy Tags!! This is such a fun set of dies and I can't stop making pretty things with them! I fussy cut the stocking from one of the cut apart cards and the sentiment is also included on the cut apart sheet...the perfect embellishments! As you can see I did NO stamping on either project!! Now don't get me wrong, I love to stamp but sometimes I don't have the time to do it and I know others are the same way so I decided to showcase fast and easy projects for this blog hop, after all with the hustle & bustle of the holidays we can all use cute, fast and SIMPLE projects can't we?
