Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash ~ December edition!

Happy December!  It's a new month and that means it's time for another edition of The Great Stash Bash with Lisa & Lori!  The weather is gorgeous here in Texas for December and the holiday season is upon us, time to get those Christmas presents wrapped and those Christmas cards made!! So without further adieu let's get this party started with the December edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2021!!

For those who are new to the challenge here is how it works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kits as possible on different projects. Then, on the last day of the month, we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2021. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our December challenge:

Here are the rules for 2021:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!  This month's stash bash item is stamps!!!
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but please concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2021
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!
This month I decided on one kit instead of two!  It was SOOO hard to narrow down my papers to just 10 but I wanted to have a better chance of using up my kit this month so I kept it to just 10 papers this month even though it was super hard!!
My kit for December:
Here are the 10 papers I chose for my kit this month:
The papers are from Photo Play Paper Be Joyful, Pebbles Home for Christmas (black words), and Hip Kit Club Make a Wish (November 2019 kit papers).  I think these papers coordinate well together don't you?

Now for my embellishments:
My embellishments are from Hip Kit Club Make a Wish, Photo Play Paper Be Joyful & Simple Stories Vintage North Pole.  I think these are a fun set of embellishments to work with and I am excited to try and use them up this month!!  I don't have any of the paper left from the Simple Stories line so I would really like to use up these embellishments this month!!  It's hard when the papers to match a set of embellishments are gone, as I tend to then just stick the left overs in my closet and the pile is growing and needs pared down (that is my 2022 goal!).

Now for my stamps for this kit:
As you can see I have a variety of Christmas stamps from Stampin' Up & CTMH.  These sets are so gorgeous but barely used and I hope to remedy that this month!!

My scraps for this month:
As you can see I have just picked 5 scraps this month.  They are from Simple Stories Holly Days, Carta Bella Home for Christmas, CTMH Tis the Season & Hip Kit Make a Wish.  These are larger scraps that I think will coordinate well with my kit.  I have been doing a great job using my scraps on cards so my scrap pile at the moment is manageable and I hope by using up the larger scraps I can keep my scrap piles under control!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2021.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!

KIT #1:
For this kit I used what I have left of my Simple Stories Cozy Days collection from last year!  I must say this is one of my all time favorite Simple Stories Collections!

Here is a close up of the papers:

KIT #2:
For this kit I have TONS of embellishments!  The papers are from CTMH True Love & Sweet Girl, Pinkfresh Studios Days of Splendor, and Jen Hadfield The Avenue.  What mix up!  The embellishments are all from PinkFresh Studio Days of Splendor except for the very OLD wooden buttons from My Mind's Eye I threw in to mix things up, I have been trying to get rid of these buttons for years!!
Here is a close up of the papers:

My embellishments from both kits:

It was hard to narrow down the embossing folders, as I have so many!! Here are the close ups of the ones I decided to use:

This month I decided to do 2 mini kits again!!
Here are my 2 mini kits using this month's prompts:
KIT #1:
For this kit I decided to pull out almost all the colors of the rainbow!! These papers are all from the Echo Park Little Dreamer collection that I just purchased with one of my gift cards for my birthday!!  For the embellishments I added the 12 x 12 sticker sheet from Echo Park's Little Dreamer Girl collection, some fun 3D and enamel embellishments from Pinkfresh Studio's Office Hours collection and some alphabet stickers from the Hip Kit Flourish Collection- this pink is a perfect match for this kit!!

Now for kit #2:
These papers are a fun collection of a bunch of different manufacturers!  I have 3 papers from the Reminisce Be Kind collection, 1 from the Echo Park Little Dreamer Girl collection (blue plaid), 1 from the Crate Paper Fresh Bouquet collection- rust floral, 1 from the Crate Paper Marigold collection-pink dot & 2 papers from the Jen Hadfield This is Family collection- words & coral dot.  For embellishments I added some black American Crafts Thicker alphas, a 12 x 12 sticker sheet from the Reminisce Be Kind collection and some enamel hearts (unknown source).

Here are my scraps:
These papers are from the Photo Play Paper Wild Honey Collection-black dot and gold dot; Carta Bella It's a Girl collection- pink hearts and pink/coral plaid; Jen Hadfield This is Family- black plaid; Simple Stories O Happy Day-white w/ black dots; and Graphic 45- pink grid. I had a hard time this month finding scraps to match my papers as the pink and yellow are kinds of a weird shade!  Amazingly I have very few black scraps!

Here are all my embellishments grouped together!  Technically they are all stickers this month some 3D, cardstock, alphabet and enamel stickers!  As bonus I added a few extra embellishments that coordinate with each kit.  I added in 12 x 12 sticker sheets from Photo Play Free Bird and Carta Bella It's a Girl lines.  I also added some gold word stickers from Pebbles The Avenue line!  I think these embellishments will look great with my papers and I am hoping to use some of them up as they have been in my stash for far to long!!

This month I decided to do 2 mini kits again!!
Here are my 2 mini kits using this month's prompts:
For this kit I chose papers from the new line by Jen Hadfield called Reaching Out!  What a fun line this is!  One of the papers (the top floral) is from the Photo Play Paper line Wicker Lane.  For embellishments I chose the Jen Hadfield Reaching Out and Hey Hello cardstock stickers as well as some Thickers by American Crafts and some dimensional banners by Paige Taylor Evans from the Wonders collection!!

Now for my second mini kit:

For this kit I chose mostly older stash things.  All the papers but one are from CTMH- the top papers and bottom left paper are all from the line called Sweet Girl by CTMH and the middle bottom paper is from an older Mix In collection from CTMH.  The bottom right paper is from the Jen Hadfield Reaching Out collection.  The embellishments are 2 sets of older American Craft Thickers, some punch out pieces from the CTMH line Sweet Girl and some older tags/ephemera from Pebbles from the Peek-a-boo You collection!!

For my stash items I have pulled these 6x6 and 6x8 paper pads:

As you can see this is a fun eclectic mix of older and newer paper pads!  Gosh, I have so many that it was hard to narrow them down!  I hope to use at least ONE in it's entirety during this month!!  FINGERS CROSSED!  These paper pads are from the following lines: Simple Stories Sunshine & Happiness, Pebbles Spring Fling, Fancy Pants Life is Beautiful, American Crafts My Girl, Cocoa Vanilla Sunkissed, Pebbles Hey Hello and Basic Grey Hillside!  Some of these pads are super old like the Basic Grey one!!

And now for my scraps:
The scraps are from the following lines: Jillibean Soup Spoonful of Soul, CTMH Sweet Girl, Simple Stories, My Mind's Eye and October Afternoon.  For a few of them I can't remember the collection name but I remember the manufacturer.

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! Here is my kit using this month's prompts:
This month I am using papers from primarily one collection: Simple Stories So Happy Together!  The embellishments are mainly from the same line as well.  I definitely won't have trouble matching things this go round!  I really loved this line, so much so that I bought it twice!  I got some of these papers/embellies in a monthly kit from The ScrapRoom & the other papers/embellies I got on a deal site called Peachy Cheap!

Here is a close up of all the papers:
The one paper not from the Simple Stories So Happy Together line is the multi- colored polka dot paper which is from the Simple Stories Posh line.

Here is a close up of the scraps I chose:
All the scraps are from the Simple Stories So Happy Together line.

A close up of my embellishments:
Here I have chipboard, ephemera pieces and a 12 x 12 sticker sheet from the Simple Stories So Happy Together line but I have also included a few pieces of Jillibean Soup ephemera and a 12 x 12 sticker sheet from the PhotoPlay Paper Heart & Home line. I thought the colors from the Heart & Home line mesh well with my papers!

A close up of the Project Life cards:
I have SOOO many Project Life cards so this was a hard choice to narrow it down but I am excited to use up a lot of Project Life cards this month!  I also have included one paper from the Simple Stories So Happy Together line that is cut apart cards that I can use as Project Life cards as well!
