Supplies Used: Papers: Carta Bella Craft & Create; stickers: Carta Bella Craft & Create; dies: Stampin Up, Stamp & Ink: Stampin' Up (ink- Night of Navy).

I made this card for a special someone who loves to sew!  I love how it turned out and hope she will love it too when I give it to her on her birthday! These papers/stickers were from my DoubleShot Kit from August of 2021 at The ScrapRoom!  I am slowly trying to use up my past kits before purchasing any new ones as my craft room is busting at the seams!!!  I am sure I am not the only one with this issue lol!  Make sure and hop on over to the Sketch N Scrap blog and check out what the other DT members did with the sketch!!

TN Time with Lisa & Lori 2022!!

Happy Monday!! Can you believe it is 2022 already?  It doesn't seem possible that a new year is upon us. I'm excited that Lori & I will continuing this fun challenge into the new year!  We have some fun sketches & challenges planned for you in 2022 & we hope you will be able to join in the fun in 2022! So without further adieu, let's get this party started!!

HERE IS HOW OUR CHALLENGE WORKS:
This is a monthly challenge that launches on the 10th of each month  You will have until the 9th at midnight CST to link up your entries. If you complete my sketch challenge link your TN, bullet journal or planner spread below. If you combined my challenge with Lori's challenge link up your spread here on my blog AND on Lori's Blog (My Happy Life). This is a "just for fun" challenge with no prize, but isn't the real prize just documenting your memories and getting more pages done in 2022???!!!!
Now for my challenge!! Here is this month's sketch:

Now for Lori's January challenge: (January 10 - February 9th):

This challenge was super easy for me!! One of my favorite embellishments is enamel dots & shapes! I especially love heart enamel dots as you will see on my spread for this month!
Here is my spread using the sketch & Lori's challenge:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Echo Park Have Faith; Stickers: Echo Park Have Faith; letter stickers: Elle's Studio (restore) and Pink Fresh Studios Some Days; enamel dots: Dear Lizzy She's Magic & Echo Park Animal Kingdom; journal spot: unknown source

It's so fun to start a new traveler's notebook don't you agree???  This is the first spread in my 2022 TN and I love it!  Each year I open my TN for the year with a spread about my one word for the year!  This year my word is RESTORE.  I plan to keep a separate journal (most likely a TN) to document all my notes and journal about my thoughts on my one word for the year, so stay tuned, I hope to share some of this soon!!

Now for some close ups:

As you can see I used the branding strip from one of the papers at the end of my journaling!  Some of the branding strips are so pretty!!  I was also able to use up a journaling spot that I have had on my desk literally for years, so glad I found the perfect place for it!!  The floral strip is actually a sticker from my January Great Stash Bash kit (you can learn more about this challenge HERE).

I love how enamel dots dress up your pages and stickers without adding a lot of bulk!! They are the perfect accent for your pages!  My other go to addition to most of my pages is to outline my papers with a black sharpie!  This makes the papers pop off the page!!

                        RULES FOR THE CHALLENGE:
1.Create a TRAVELER'S NOTEBOOK, PLANNER, OR BULLET JOURNAL spread based on the CHALLENGE THEME and/or our sketch.

January 5th card sketch @ Sketch N Scrap!

Happy  Hump Day!! Today we launched the first card sketch of the new month and the New Year at Sketch N Scrap!!
Here is the sketch created by yours truly:

Here is the card I created with the sketch:
Supplies Used: Card stock: Stampin' Up: Whisper White & Basic Black; Patterned Paper: Echo Park Cupid & Co, Simple Stories Kissing Booth and Photo Play Paper Love Letters; stickers; Photo Play Paper Love Letters; black pen: Sharpie; punches: Stampin' Up: tag and circle punches.

I used only scraps from three past kits at The ScrapRoom to make this card and I love how it turned out!  This birdie is so adorable and I love the way these papers mixed together from a variety of manufacturers to create a beautiful card!  I made my own tag with the tag corner punch from Stampin' Up and then circle punches to make my own hole reinforcer out of black cardstock.  Make sure and hop on over to the Sketch N Scrap blog and check out what the other DT members did with the sketch!!  Happy creating!

TN Time with Lisa & Lori ~ July edition!

Happy weekend!! Are you getting some creative time this weekend?  I sure hope so!!!  It's time to kick off our next edition of TN Time with Lisa & Lori!!  So let's get this party started!

HERE IS HOW OUR CHALLENGE WORKS: This is a monthly challenge that launches on the 10th of each month  You will have until the 9th at midnight CST to link up your entries. If you complete my sketch challenge link your TN, bullet journal or planner spread below. If you combined my challenge with Lori's challenge link up your spread here on my blog AND on Lori's Blog (My Happy Life). For 2021 we are making this challenge a "just for fun" challenge with no prize, but isn't the real prize just documenting your memories and getting more pages done in 2021???!!!!
Now for my challenge!! Here is this month's sketch:

Now for Lori's Challenge for July (July 10th-August 9th):

What a fun challenge! Red, Blue, and stars are certainly pertinent to July here in the USA!!!
Here is my layout using the sketch and Lori's challenge:

Supplies Used:  Patterned Papers: Echo Park A Slice of Summer & Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse; cardstock: Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette; stickers: Echo Park A Slice of Summer & Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse; letter stickers: Bella Blvd; ephemera: Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse & Elle's Studio; puffy stickers (stars & hearts): Elle's Studio; wood hearts: Studio Calico
I used both red and blue papers as well as red and blue in my embellishments!  For the stars I used a combination of a wood veneer star and a puffy sticker star!  I love the farmhouse feel to this layout so I didn't want to go all out with large stars but though these smaller stars were a perfect complement!!

Now for a few close ups:

I didn't do a formal title, instead I just added the year for where the title is in the sketch and added a few puffy stickers and a dragon fly sticker to accent my title!

I love this woodgrain paper!! I think it goes so beautifully with the plaid strips!

Now for the nitty gritty of how to play along:

                                            RULES FOR THE CHALLENGE:

Here is my card using this sketch from 2016:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Pebbles Live Life Happy, American Crafts Never Grow Up, Photo Play Paper Fern & Willard & KI Memories (pink hearts); Card stock: Stampin' Up Whisper White; stickers: PhotoPlay Paper Fern & Willard; pens: Black Le Pen & White Pen Signo

It felt great to use up some scraps, still trying to keep my scrap bin under control on a regular basis to avoid it overflowing!! I hope you will join us on Facebook and play along with both our Classic Card OR Classic Layout sketch Rewind Challenges as we use some oldie but goodie sketches from years past!!  You can find Sketch N Scrap on Facebook HERE.  Have a creative weekend!
