Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure 2022 ~ December edition!

Happy December! It's the most wonderful time of the year!  The cold weather hit Texas early this year and it's been crazy!  One day it's 80 and the next in the 30's!  Mother Nature is taking us on a roller coaster ride this last month of 2022! I did do better at using my kit last month, as I made one card and one layout, however, you can barely tell I used my kit!!  I have one more month in this year and I am determined to make good use of my December kits!!  So without further adieu let's kick off the last month of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022 with the December edition!!

For those who are new to the challenge here is how it works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kits as possible on different projects. Then, on the last day of the month, we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2022. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our December Challenge:
I am so excited to use some stamps this month!  My stamps have been neglected to much this past year!

For December I decided to pick 2 kits.  I have a few Winter/snow pictures to scrap and I also want to scrap some Christmas photos and make a few Christmas cards so I picked a Winter themed kit and a Christmas themed kit, however I feel I can interchange these 2 kits easily!

Here is my 1st Christmas themed kit:
Papers are from: Hip Kit Club Holiday Happenings (winter floral & snowflake),Crate Paper Hey Santa (red dot, black stripe & pink plaid), & Pink Fresh Studios Be You (mint dot).

Here are the back sides of the papers, so hard to choose which one to use!
My favorite is the Cut Apart cards!

Here are my scraps:
These scraps are bigger but I hope to use them to make more room in my scrap pile!

My embellishments & stamps:
Sticker sheets: Pink Fresh Studios Oh What Fun, Hip Kit Club Holiday Happenings, & Simple Stories Holly Days; Cut Apart Card; Pink Fresh Studios Holiday Vibes and stamps: Stampin' Up Santa's List & Cozy Christmas

Now for my 2nd kit (Winter themed):
Papers from Crate Paper Snowflake (snowflakes & cut apart cards), Pretty Little Studio Glitter & Ice (pink plaid & pink stems), & Hip Kit Keeping Cozy (multi snowflakes & multi chevron).

The back sides of my papers:
Once again it's going to be hard to choose which side to use!

My scraps:
I believe these are all from the Hip Kit Club but am not sure as I got them so long ago!  Time to use them up!!!

My embellishments & stamp set:
Chipboard stickers: Hip Kit Club Keeping Cozy; ephemera: Hip Kit Club Keeping Cozy; enamel dots and words: Hip Kit Club Keeping Cozy, tags/envelopes: Hip Kit Club Keeping Cozy, white stems/florals: Hip Kit Club Keeping Cozy & stamp set: CTMH Perk Up.

Here are the rules for 2022:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!  This month's stash bash item is washi tape!!
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2022
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2022.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ November edition!

Happy November! It seems Fall is in full swing! YAY!! October sure flew by and unfortunately I did not make much of a dent in my kit 😞 once again (do I sound like a broken record yet?) However, it's a new month with a chance to start fresh AND that means it's time for a new edition of The Great Stash Bash Adventure with Lisa & Lori!! So without further adieu let's get the party started with the November edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022!!

Now for our November Challenge:

For November I just picked one kit, I have some older Fall photos to scrap and this kit will be perfect for those photos!
Here are the 10 papers I picked for this month:
These papers are from 1 Canoe 2 Willow line (dark plum & black plaid); Jen Hadfield (words);Paige Evans Truly Grateful (pink grid, leaves, and butterflies); Webster's Pages (orange plaid); Dear Lizzy She's Magic (green grid); Pretty Little Studio Indian Summer funky paint background and Paige Evans Garden Shop (orange circles)

Here are my embellishments:
These are from Pretty Little Studio Indian Summer (leaves, frames & ephemera), Hip Kit Club Cozy Up (words and ephemera), cut apart cards from Webster's Pages and Pink Paislee.  I have SOOO many cut apart cards and while I just love them I don't use them as much as I need to!  I have considered cutting them up but then the paper on the back would be in such small pieces so I am for now storing them as full sheets with my stash!

My scraps:
These are from various manufacturers and I am happy to have a big selection of scraps to use for this kit!  The scraps are from Pink Paislee, Hip Kit Cozy Up, Paige Evans Truly Grateful, One Canoe Two Willow and Bo Bunny Beautiful Things.

And my stash bash item (washi tape) for this month:
It is hard to get a good picture of washi tape!  These are all washi tapes I've never used!!  I do not remember the manufacturers of these tapes but they are all so pretty don't you think?

Here are the rules for 2022:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!  This month's stash bash item is washi tape!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ October edition!

Happy October!  My favorite month is here!! YAY!!  September sure flew by and unfortunately I did not make much of a dent in my September kit 😞  However, it's a new month with a chance to start fresh AND that means it's time for a new edition of The Great Stash Bash Adventure with Lisa & Lori!! So without further adieu let's get the party started with the October edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022!!

Now for our October Challenge:

For this month's stash bash item I kept it simple and just picked one set of ephemera!  I have TONS of ephemera to use up but I wanted to simplify in hopes of actually using up my kit this month!  It seems the more choices I have the less I use lol!!

This month I am going to be working with just ONE kit!
Here is my October kit:
This kit is digging DEEP into my stash to pull out some VERY OLD papers and combine them with some new ephemera, stamps and stickers!!

Close up of my favorite side of the papers:
These papers are from :Studio Calico (orange, green, & pink dots); October Afternoon (blue lines, yellow grid, multi chevron & word print); Basic Grey (circle & pink) and Sassafras Lass (ice cream cones).  Since this kit is CIRCUS themed I thought these papers really fit that theme!  It will feel good to actually use these papers up, most have been in my stash for over 15 years!  In fact, most of these companies are no longer in business, WOW!

Close up of the "B" sides of my papers:
Some of these sides don't really work with my circus theme but I think some will!

Close up of my embellishments:
My ephemera pieces are all from a new kit called STEP RIGHT UP from Illustrated Faith.  The ephemera pieces came in this ADORABLE little peanut sack!!   The stamps, tickets, and sticker sheets are also all from the Illustrated Faith Step Right Up kit. I also included some brads from October Afternoon and some old buttons and wood veneer I thought went well with this kit!  This kit from Illustrated Faith has a devotional that is included and I am planning to do this devotional by my friend Lisa Stander in October.  I plan to make a "junk journal" of sorts for my notes and plan to bind the devotional (see below) and some more papers for note taking using my cinch!  I plan to use all the above embellishments to decorate my home made junk journal notebook!  I have not yet used my cinch so I am excited to dust it off and make a fun journal this month!! Wish me luck!!

This month's stash bash item is EPHEMERA!!
I didn't do so well on using my stash last month, however, I plan to finish up a few projects I started with last month's kit but never completed in the next week or so and will then share an update on what I was able to bash with last month's kit!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure 2022 ~ September edition!

Happy September!  My oh my, another month has past me by!!  Once again, I did not do well with using up my kit, I just didn't take enough Summer pictures to scrap like I thought I would!  However, it's a new month with a chance to start fresh AND that means it's time for a new edition of The Great Stash Bash Adventure with Lisa & Lori!! So without further adieu let's get the party started with the September edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022!!

Now for our September Challenge:

For this month's stash bash item I didn't have a whole lot to chose from for a change!  I had purged many of my brads and most of my eyelets because I never used them!  I did keep some and so this challenge is the catalyst I needed to get me to actually use those I had been hoarding!!

This month I am going to be working 2 kits!!!
Here is my 1st September kit:
Papers: Pinkfresh Studio Noteworthy, Heidi Swapp Color Fresh and Hip Kit Club Pretty Sweet; stickers: PinkFresh Studios Everyday Musings and Heidi Swapp; brads: unknown source (I have had these forever!)
My plan for these papers and embellishments is to create dividers for my new prayer ministry team 3 ring binder I am creating!  I am trying to get organized as I can never seem to find my notes that I take for planning our prayer events and our notes from our meetings!  I am hoping a pretty new binder will keep me more organized!

Close up of my favorite sides of the papers:

Close up of the "B" sides:

Now for my second September kit:
These papers are from Simple Stories Cozy Days (yellow plaid), Bo Bunny Beautiful Things (gold tickets, green grid and blue grid), CTMH Boutique (pink medallion & scraps-word), Hip Kit Pretty Sweet (purple scrap & pink ombre), CTMH Sweet Girl (gray) and CTMH Grateful Heart (gold leaf).
Here is the "A" side of the papers and the ones I like the most. I plan on using these fun papers to create a gratitude journal and maybe some fun Fall cards this month!!

Now for a close up of the "B" sides:
When I look at these patterns, they really don't look to good together, sometimes I feel like the "B" side of the paper doesn't really go with the "A" side and these papers are great examples of that lol!  I do think some of them will look good mixed with the "A" side though!  It will be fun to see what sides I end up using more!

Close up of my embellishments and stash bash brads:
Cut apart cards- Bo Bunny Beautiful things, brads Simple Stories I am & Vintage Great Escape; ephemera PinkFresh Studios Fall Splendor and stickers: PinkFresh Studios Fall Splendor.

I am excited to include these cut apart cards in my embellishments for this kit, I think they are super cute!  I am not sure if these brads will go well or not, some do and some don't but I have had them for so long I decided to try and make at least a few work this month with my kit as I no longer have any of the papers that match these brads!

This month's stash bash item is Project Life cards!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ August 2022 edition!!

Happy August!  My oh my, where did July go??? Time continues to fly but it's a new month with a chance to start fresh AND that means it's time for a new edition of The Great Stash Bash Adventure with Lisa & Lori!! So without further adieu let's get the party started with the August edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022!!

Now for our August Challenge:

Once again this is a stash bash item I have MORE than a lifetime supply of!! In fact, the 2 storage boxes I have for my Project Life cards are full and I am determined to sort through them and either use some of them up or purge some so that I don't have to buy another storage box!  So this challenge came at the perfect time!

This month I am going to be working from just one large kit!!!
Here is my August kit:
Here are my 10 papers.  I chose just 10 in hopes of using them up!  These papers are from the following lines: Elle's Studio Sunny Days (woodgrain), Echo Park Endless Summer (yellow pineapple), Bella Blvd Oh My Stars (orange stars), Echo Park Birthday Wishes (pink), Bella Blvd Time to Travel (teal small white dot), Echo Park Summer Bliss (orange chevron) and the rest of the papers are from the Pebbles Fun in the Sun collection.

These are the back sides of the papers that are my least favorites.  This kit contains papers that are very old, so I am hoping to finally be able to use them up!

Now for my scraps:
As you can see I included a large number of scraps this time! These scraps are from various CTMH collections, Elle's Studio and from Cocoa Vanilla's Sun kissed collection.

Now for my stash bash item- Project Life cards:
These cards are from various manufacturers including Elle's Studio, American Crafts, and The Reset Girl.  The larger cut apart sheet is from Elle's Studio Sunny Days collection and the smaller cut apart sheet is from Cocoa Vanilla Sun Kissed collection.

Now for my embellishments:
I am hoping to scrap a lot of my Summer photos, so I picked an ephemera pack from Cocoa Vanilla's Sun Kissed collection as well as a set of floral ephemera from the Cocoa Vanilla Sun kissed collection.  The enamel dots are from the Bo Bunny Beautiful Things collection . The puffy hearts are from the Jen Hadfield Live & Let Grow Line.  And finally the stickers are from the Doodlebug Live, Laugh, Happy collection.  These are definitely some fun embellishments, don't you think??!!!

This month's stash bash item is Project Life cards!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure 2022 ~ July edition!

Happy July!  What happened to June???  Gosh time sure has a way of moving right along doesn't it?  I always love the start of a new month, it's a chance to start fresh AND that means it's time for a new edition of The Great Stash Bash Adventure with Lisa & Lori!! So without further adieu let's get the party started with the July edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022!!

Now for our July Challenge:

I have a plethora of 12 x 12 stickers sheets!!  This is definitely one stash bash item I need to bash!  One thing I have found is that after I use up all the paper from the collection to which the 12 x 12 sticker belongs I usually have MANY stickers left!  So I place these orphan stickers in a drawer so I can easily access them when making cards or my TN spreads...then once I am down to just a few stickers that I know I most likely wont' ever use because they aren't pertinent to my activities i.e. fishing or something like that I then pull them off the sheet, place them on wax paper and include them in a card I am sending to someone that I think might enjoy them OR if that person isn't crafty I will just decorate the envelope of the card I mailing them with those random stickers!  The partial sticker sheets I am using in this month's kits are going to be "destashed" at the end of this month and moved along to new homes! The full sheets I will most likely keep for a bit longer but I need to make more room in my drawer!

Now for this months kits!!!
This month I have created 2 fun kits!
My 1st July kit:
This kit includes papers from the Simple Stories Summer Days collection.  I have decided I have hoarded this collection long enough, it's time to use it!

The front of my favorite papers and scraps:
My two scrap papers are pretty large and the one is cut apart cards that I think are so fun, hoping to use them up!  These papers are from Echo Park Summer Dreams (cut apart cards) and Echo Park Summer Bliss (a really old collection that is basically now all scraps!)

The back side of the papers & scraps:

My embellishments and stash bash item- 12 x 12 sticker sheets:
The tickets are cut out from some old October Afternoon paper.  My 12 x 12 sticker sheets are from the Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse collection, Echo Park Summer Bliss collection, and the Simple Stories Sumer Days collection.

My second kit:
These papers and the ephemera pieces are all from the Vicki Boutin Color Study collection.

My favorite side of the papers and scraps:
I just love these papers and bought just the few you see here and have neglected using them because they are so gorgeous, but it's time to make more room for more Vicki Boutin goodness!!  I love EVERY collection she releases!  I am planning to treat myself to some of her newest line called Print Shop if I use up this kit!

The back side of the papers and scraps:
For this kit I plan to make some dividers for a notebook I am making to keep all the things from a new subscription group I joined called Cultivate.  I am excited to use up these papers making some cute dividers and a cover for my notebook!

A close up of my 2 x 12 sticker sheets:
This Vicki Boutin collection does not have a matching 12 x 12 sticker sheet but I was able to pull out a bunch of the ones I currently have including letter stickers (since I'm using this kit for dividers I need letter stickers), that I think will work with these papers.  I think some of them will even coordinate with my first kit as well!  They are from the following collections:  Simple Stories I Am, Echo Park Creative Agenda, Simple Stories Carpe Diem, Echo Park Creative Agenda, Photo Play Paper Wild Honey, Jenni Bowlin (these letter sticker are SUPER old!) and Photo Play Paper Wicker Lane!

The embellishments that are not 12 x 12 sticker sheets:
The ephemera and cut apart card sheet are from the Vicki Boutin Color Study line. The stickers are from the Vicki Boutin Kaleidoscope collection.

This month's stash bash item is 12 x 12 sticker sheets!!
