Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Adventure 2026 ~ July edition

Happy July! It's a new month and time to launch another fun edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure! I did not do as well using up my June kit as I had hoped.  Life often gets in the way leaving us uninspired and that was me last month!  I will keep this fun kit out and hopefully use some of it soon!  Thank goodness it's a new month, it is time to reset & start anew!!  So without further adieu let's kick off the July edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2026!!

Here is how our 2026 challenge works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kit as possible on different projects. Then, somewhere along the way we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us on our quest to bash some stash in 2026. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog My Happy Life (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our Stash Bash kit recipe for this month:

Here is this month's kit:
I am hoping to get some of last year's Summer pictures scrapped with this kit.

Here are the "A" sides of my papers:
All the papers are from the Echo Park's Good Day Sunshine collection. I love this fun color combo!

The "B" sides of my papers:
Truthfully I am not a fan of most of these papers except the floral one, so we shall see if I actually use the "B" sides of these papers

Here are my embellishments & alphas:
My alphas are from American Craft Thickers and Echo Park Summer Bliss (12x12 sticker sheet).  The cut apart page, 12 x 12 sticker sheet and the ephemera are all from Echo Park's Good Day Sunshine collection.

My scrap bash item: chipboard:
I have had these chipboard stickers for many years so I am hoping to finally use them up! These chipboard stickers are from Echo Park Good Day Sunshine collection. I have not bought any chipboard in a few years as I seem not to use them, so I am excited to try and use these!

I hope you will join us this month!!!
Here are the rules for 2026:
Each month we will create a kit using the recipe (found above) of 3-5 patterned papers of any size (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 2-3 embellishments, 2-3 pieces of cardstock, alphas and our stash bash item!
This month's stash bash item is: chipboard
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2026
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2026.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ June edition!

Happy June! It's a new month and time to launch another fun edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure! I did not do as well using up my May kit as I had hoped.  Life often gets in the way leaving us uninspired and that was me last month!  I will keep this fun kit out and hopefully use some of it soon!  Thank goodness it's a new month, it is time to reset & start anew!!  So without further adieu let's kick off the June edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2026!!

If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog My Happy Life (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our Stash Bash kit recipe for this month:

Here is my kit for this month:
I am hoping to get some of last year's Summer pictures scrapped with this fun kit!

Here are the "A" sides of my papers:
I picked a Bazzzill red and green cardstock for this month's kit and all the patterned papers are from Echo Park's Our Groovy Summer collection.  This is a new collection I was gifted by a friend and I just love the pink and green combo!!

The "B" sides of my papers:
I love the stripe and cherry papers on the "B" sides, can't wait to use them!

Here are my embellishments & alphas:
The 12x12 sticker sheet and the other two 6x8 sticker sheets are from Echo Park's Our Groovy Summer collection.  The 4x6 sticker sheet is from an old Carta Bella Summer collection that I used all the paper for years ago.  My alphas are American Craft Thickers (multi/white alphas) and Pink Fresh (Simple & Sweet collection).  The ephemera is from various collections including Cocoa Vanilla's Sunkissed collection and some Pink Fresh Studios misc. ephemera that has been on my desk for months!

My stash bash item: scraps:
I may have went a little overboard picking my scraps but I need to make room in my scrap pile!!  I am thinking I can create some cards using these larger scraps, so wish me luck!!  My scraps are from various manufacturers including: PhotoPlay Paper, Stampin' Up, Echo Park, PinkFresh Studios, Simple Stories, Bella Blvd, and even October afternoon!! I am loving this color palette and while picking these scraps out I had the brilliant idea to make up bags of scraps with a color palette in mind so that I can create cards without digging through all my scraps. This is exactly why I stray away from using my scraps as the pile is unmanageable and this would help me make more manageable piles that are less intimidating!  Stay tuned for a post on that at a later date!

Happy April! It's a new month and time to launch another fun edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure! I did not do as well using up my March kit as I had hoped.  I spent most of the month working on a wedding album I am trying to finish for a gift and didn't have time to use my kit at all!  I will keep it out and hopefully use some of it soon!  Thank goodness it's a new month, it is time to reset & start anew!!  So without further adieu let's kick off the April edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2026!!

I love these Spring colors and hope to use these papers in my journal for April and to create a few Spring layouts and some birthday cards!

These patterened papers are from the SImple Stories Tea Time collection.  I picked a white and dark pink cardstock to go with these fun patterned papers this month!

My embellishments & alphas:
My alphas are a 12 x 12 Simple Stories Carpe Diem sheet and 2 sets of American Craft Thickers.  For my embellishments I have included some Vicki Boutin sticker sheets and ephemera which are from her varioius collections.

My stash bash item- Cut apart cards:
I have so many cut apart cards!  I love them and can never stop myself from purchasing them!!
