TGIF!!  We are on day 2 of an ice/snow storm here in Texas, the perfect day to stay in and get creative!! Today I am sharing my layout I created with the February Flavors of the Month kit and The Friday Freaky Fast Formula at The ScrapRoom!

This layout was so fun to create!! What an amazing kit this is!! I just loved the bright vibrant color scheme as well as the playful patterns! So perfect for those guys in your life- big and small!  I knew when I saw this kit with all the fun trucks that I wanted to use it to scrap this picture of my brother playing in the dirt with his little guy!  No better line for this picture then this one!  So glad I didn't scrap it right away!!  Make sure and head on over to The ScrapRoom blog to see more inspiration from the rest of the DT!!  Happy creating!!

TGIF!!  Today I am sharing my layout created using the Freaky Fast Friday Formula at The ScrapRoom!  I used the Flavors of the Month kit to create this fun layout!!

I will admit this formula through me for a bit of a loop at first with all the smaller squares but I decided to do a "grid" pattern using the squares and the stickers and love how it turned out!  I just love the amazing texture of Carta Bella papers!  To make the squares "pop" even more I outlined them all with a black pen!  This photo is of my nephew on his last birthday!!  Looks like he had a great one with all these fun gifts don't you think?  I thought the colors were perfect for this photo!!  Even though this is a birthday kit if you use the "B" side of the papers like I did you could absolutely make any type of layout with these papers!!  Of course, the stickers are pretty much birthday themed but the papers can be either way!  Make sure and visit The ScrapRoom blog to check out what the other DT did with this fun kit and this FREAKY FAST FORMULA!!  Happy creating!

August Freaky Fast Friday Challenge!

Happy Friday!  Today I am sharing an adorable layout I created using the August Freaky Fast Friday Formula and the Doodlebug Designs collection called Bar-B- Cute!  I always love Doodlebug Collections but this one is just super fun and adorable!  Here is a reminder of the full  August Flavors of the Month kit:

This formula was so fun!  At first I was intimidated because of the large number of pieces!! But once I cut them all and started moving them around on my cardstock it went together very quickly!  I added the doily which I thought gave my embellishment cluster a nice touch. To draw in another circle I and get a hamburger for an embellishment, since the pictures are about fries and hamburgers I fussy cut the hamburger from one of the cut apart cards on the B side of one of the papers and added it to a die cut cardstock circle!  I think this kit is just so fun and perfect for those pictures we all have of our kids as messy eaters!!  My niece was so adorable with her ketchup/fries and hamburgers don't you think?  She is older now and does not even like hamburgers so that makes these photos even more precious!  Make sure and head on over to The ScrapRoom blog to see what other layouts the DT came up with using the fun mini kit and this fun Freaky Fast Formula for August!  Happy creating!

These are pictures from the second birthday party of my friend's sweet granddaughter! I loved the fun bold papers and colors included in the kit.  The bold and bright ephemera were the perfect accents for my pictures!! As usual using this fun formula made creating this layout SO fast and easy!  I literally created it within 30 minutes! I love that this formula allowed for some fun layering! TGIF!!  It's the first Friday of the New Year!! YAY!  Today it's my turn to use the Freaky Fast Friday Formula at The ScrapRoom!!  I'm using the awesome January Flavors of the month kit for my layout today.  Here is the beautiful kit:

I had this one random picture of my sister in law and nephew that I felt was perfect for this line!  The funny thing is this picture was actually taken in May NOT in the Winter, although I think they would be tell you it felt like Winter out on the lake one cold morning!!  So even if you don't live a cold climate where you get snow I think you will find these papers are generic enough you can use them for non-Winter layouts/projects as well!  I just loved the cut apart cards and the colors of this line!  I hope you will hop on over to The ScrapRoom blog to check out what the other DT members did with this fun kit!  Happy creating!
