Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash challenge ~ February edition!!

Happy February!  It's a new month and time for a new edition of The Great Stash Bash Adventure with Lisa & Lori!!  I'm still not out of my slump 😕 as I have been dealing with family members who are ill this month but I am determined to move forward and hope to turn things around this month!!!  So without further adieu it's time for another edition of The Great Stash Bash with Lisa & Lori!  Let's get this party started with the February edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2022!!

For those who are new to the challenge here is how it works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kits as possible on different projects. Then, on the last day of the month, we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2022. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our February challenge:

Here are the rules for 2022:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!  This month's stash bash item is STICKERS!!!
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2022
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!

This month I will doing just one BIG kit instead of two smaller kits!
Here are the papers for my February kit :
These papers are from the Pebbles Jen Hadfield line Reaching Out as well as one paper from the Buenos Dias Obed Marshall line by American Crafts (yellow grid) and one paper from Paige Evans' Wonders line (green).  I love these fun colors don't you?

The papers "B" sides:
I really like the "A" sides better but will most likely use some of the "B" sides as well on my projects!!

Close ups of the papers (my favorite sides):

My scraps:
These scraps are all from the Jen Hadfield Reaching Out line by Pebbles, Inc.

My embellishments and stash bash items:
I picked all stickers for my embellishments and stash bash item this month!  I have a sticker problem lol!  I have way to many in my stash and need to use them up! These stickers are from the Jen Hadfield Reaching Out line (foam on left, cardstock stickers next to them, and pressed flower 3D stickers), Paige Evan's Wonders line (banner stickers), Jen Hadfield The Avenue (far right) and the newest line by Pebbles Inc Kid at Heart.

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2022.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!

TN Time with Lisa & Lori ~ June edition!

Happy Sunday!!  As you might have noticed today's post is going up a few days late.  This was due to technical difficulties on my part, so sorry for the delay!  So without further ado, let's kick off the June edition of the TN Time with Lisa & Lori challenge!!!

HERE IS HOW OUR CHALLENGE WORKS: This is a monthly challenge that launches on the 10th of each month  You will have until the 9th at midnight CST to link up your entries. If you complete my sketch challenge link your TN, bullet journal or planner spread below. If you combined my challenge with Lori's challenge link up your spread here on my blog AND on Lori's Blog (My Happy Life). For 2021 we are making this challenge a "just for fun" challenge with no prize, but isn't the real prize just documenting your memories and getting more pages done in 2021???!!!!
Now for my challenge!! Here is this month's sketch:

Now for Lori's challenge (June 10th-July 9th):

What a fun challenge!! I don't normally use a lot of yellow, but it is such a fun color and I do LOVE mustard yellow!!  And well, circles what can I say except they make a great addition to ANY layout!!  Plus I love enamel dots and that counts as a circle too!!!
Here is my layout using the sketch and Lori's challenge:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Crate Paper Garden Party, My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus & Jen Hadfield Reaching Out; Stickers: Jen Hadfield Reaching Out & Hey Hello, cork sticker: Paper Studio & word strip Live Colorfully: Simple Stories Oh Happy Day; enamel dots: My Mind's Eye and enamel heart Pink Paislee I Love Us; journal tabs: Crate Paper Garden Party; journal card: Elle's Studio; circle die: Stampin' Up; epoxy Word sticker: Vicki Boutin; date stamp: Heidi Swapp & ink: Memento Black Tuxedo.

For the yellow part of the challenge I went with a mustard yellow.  I used the My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus paper on the left side as well as a yellow word strip sticker and some yellow in the one patterned paper and flower on the right side.  For my circle elements I used a die cut stitched circle as well as the circle sticker "Be Happy" on the right side and of course some enamel dots, which in my opinion is a MUST on any layout!!

Here are a few close ups:

I love that paint brush, it was a perfect accent for my layout about fun times with my crafty babes at my recent glamping retreat!! I used a Project Life type card and loved those cute hearts on the side!!

I have had this Be Happy sticker in my "BASHKET" on my desk for years, so it was a perfect circle element to add to this spread!! I was to scared I couldn't write small enough for this small space so I used my computer for journaling on this layout!

Now for the nitty gritty of how to play along:

                                            RULES FOR THE CHALLENGE:
1.Create a TRAVELER'S NOTEBOOK, PLANNER, OR BULLET JOURNAL spread based on the CHALLENGE THEME and/or our sketch.

Card sketch #185 at Sketch N Scrap!

Happy Friday eve!  Today I am sharing a fun Valentine's Day card I created using the January 5th card sketch at Sketch N Scrap!
This amazing sketch is by sketch artist Stacy:

Here is the card I created using this awesome sketch:
Supplies Used: Card stock: Stampin' Up: Whisper White; Patterned Paper: We R Memory Keepers & PhotoPlay Be Mine (background); Stickers: Pebbles We Go Together

The fun thing about this card is that I used up a mish mash of scraps that I had in a drawer filed for Valentine's Day.  These are all older things and the papers are actually scraps that last year I almost tossed but decided to save.  I have never used these stickers because I never got any of the papers to go with them so I was excited to use them on this card and see they matched these scraps!  I am participating in a Valentine's Day card swap next month and decided to get a jump start on creating my cards!  I love the way this card turned out and I know I will be using it again real soon. I don't make a lot of slimline cards so it was super fun to do something different this time!!  Make sure and head over to the Sketch N Scrap blog and check out all the amazing cards the DT created with this fun sketch!  Happy creating!

Card sketch #179 at Sketch N Scrap

Happy Hump Day!  Today I am sharing my card created with the super fun card sketch by sketch artist Stacy at Sketch N Scrap!  Here is her sketch:

Here is my card created with this amazing sketch:
Supplies Used: cardstock:  Stampin' Up-Very Vanilla; patterned paper: Simple Stories I am & Pebbles Jen Hadfield Along the Way; stickers: Simple Stories I am; enamel heart: Teresa Collins.

I don't make a lot of square cards so when I saw this sketch I jumped at the chance!  They are super fun and a break from making the usual style card!!  I had a lot of fun creating this card for a special friend to encourage her in a new adventure in her life!  This card was made from scraps I had left over from some previous ScrapRoom kits!  I love using up scraps on cards...I am doing a good job in 2020 of keeping my scraps under control!  This sketch made creating the card so easy and I know I will be using it over and over!  Make sure and stop by the Sketch N Scrap blog to see what other amazing cards the DT created with this fun sketch!  Happy creating!

Bashing Some Stash!!

Happy Monday!  The month is winding down but I used this weekend as a chance to bash some stash.  I used up some of my older ScrapRoom kits!!  I have been trying to bash at least one older kit each month!!  Here is the layout I created with the older Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl kit:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl and Pebbles Girl Squad; cardstock: white and black- Bazzill; stickers: Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl; cut outs: Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl

Here is the fun sketch from Sketch N Scrap created by Heather Hall that I used to create this layout:

I had a lot of fun using up my last bits of this super fun collection from Simple Stories!! I loved those fun crafty stickers which were perfect for these adorable photos of my friend's granddaughter painting!!  I hope your weekend was filled with lots of crafting!  Keep on crafting my friends!!

Well Rounded ~ Cookin' Up Creations challenge!!

Good morning and TGIF!!  Today I am hosting my second challenge of the month at Cookin' Up Creations!  We are having fun all September long focusing on all things circular!!  For today's challenge called "WELL ROUNDED" I am challenging everyone to create a layout with some circular journaling!!  Here is what I came up with:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Scenic Route (grid), CTMH (branding strip), Bo Bunny (background dot), Jen Hadfield Pebbles Hey Hello; cardstock: Basic Black & Whisper White Stampin' Up; stickers: Jen Hadfield Pebbles Hey Hello; Letter Stickers: American Crafts Thickers, Doodlebug Designs (square, word "tea" & circle letter stickers), black pen: Sakura black Pigma Micron pen.

I had a lot of fun creating this layout!  I have been wanting to do a favorites layout for awhile and so this challenge presented the perfect opportunity for me!  I was gifted this fun set of stickers and the 6 x 8 paper pad from the Pebbles Hey Hello line and so since I didn't have any 12 x 12 sheets this design was perfect as I didn't need any large pieces of paper for it except the background papers. The lovely color palette of this line was easy to match except for one of the pinks which is almost neon, so I didn't use that one!  I love the way adding outlining to the circles and banner with my black pen helped give added dimension to the layout!  This is fast becoming one of my favorite ways to "dress up" my layouts or cards!!  I hope you will join in the fun this month at Cookin' Up Creations!  This forum is the place to visit if you are short on inspiration!!  Have a wonderful weekend and happy creating!

September Flavors of the month kit at The ScrapRoom!

Happy Monday!!  It's the start of a new week and I wanted to share a fun layout I created using the September Flavors of the Month kit at The ScrapRoom today!!  Pebbles has long been one of my favorite manufactures and Jen Hadfield one of my favorite designers so this new line by Jen Hadfield called The Avenue was on my wish list!! Here is look at that mini kit included in this months Flavors of the month kit at The ScrapRoom:

Isn't this so pretty?  Here is my layout using this lovely kit:

Supplies Used: cardstock: white- from the kit; Patterned paper: Pebbles The Avenue- from the kit;  Word stickers: Pebbles The Avenue- from the embellishment kit; ephemera: Pebbles The Avenue- from the kit; doily: unknown source - from my stash.
This is such a fun kit and I knew these colors and these words would be perfect for this photo of my brother and his family on the front porch of their home posting with the pumpkins we had carved!!  Make sure and hop on over to The ScrapRoom blog to see what the other DT members did with this amazing kit!  Happy creating!

Happy Hump Day friends!! Today I am sharing a few cards I created using some older kits from The ScrapRoom!!  I don't know how this happens but I am running short on cards in my stash!  Say what????!!  So I am taking some time today to create some fun cards for my stash!! Here are the cards I have created:

Supplies Used: Cardstock: Stampin' UP Whisper White; Patterned Paper: Pebbles Sun & Fun; Dinosaur: Pebbles: Happy Cake Day;  stamp: Stampin' Up; ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

This card was created for my nephew's birthday.  He used to like dinosaurs but he may have outgrown that but I am sure he will love this card no matter what since I made it for him!

Supplies Used: Cardstock: Stempin' Up Whisper White & Basic Black; Patterned Paper: Simple Stories Kissing Booth; stickers: Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl; doily: Martha Stewart; and sentiment : Simple Stories Hey Crafty Girl (I fussy cut this from a sheet of the paper)
