July is really flying by!  I can't believe that it is time for the last sketch of the month again over at Sketch N Scrap!  I say this every month but where did the time go? Yikes!  Today the sketch is by me!   Here is my sketch:

I loved this sketch so much I made not one card but TWO using it!!! Here are my cards:
Supplies Used:  Card stock: Stampin' Up Whisper White, Pear Pizzaz,Calypso Coral & Sahara Sand; Patterned Paper: Simple Stories Winter Wonderland (6x6); Rhinestones: Kaiser Crafts; Sentiment : Cut out from 6x6 paper pad; Dies: Lawn Fawn (snowflakes); Border Punch: Stampin' Up (Scallop)

Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Stampin' Up Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Cool Caribean & Night of Navy; Patterned Paper: Simple Stories So Rad (6x6); Stamp: Stampin' Up; Ink: Stampin' Up Night of Navy; punch: Stampin' Up (stars); enamel dots: Queen & Co.; Border: American Crafts (pre-cut)

I had a lot of fun making these cards!  I envision LOTS of different ideas using this sketch.  I plan to make a few cards using hearts for the shape and also leaves for a Fall themed birthday card!  Trying to use up some of my older 6x6 paper pads to make room for more, I just LOVE 6x6 paper pads!! But I don't have a lot of room to store anymore so look for more cards using them coming up in the near future!  Make sure and hop over to Sketch N Scrap to check out the cards made by the other DT members, LOTS of different takes on the sketch that are sure to inspire you!  You have until July 31st to enter our prize drawing for a fun set of dies just by sharing your card or layout created with one of our sketches!  PLUS if you are in the mood for a fun crop make sure and join our crop at Sketch N Scrap it started on Saturday July 15th and runs until Saturday July 29th!! Double-shot Kit~ Photo Play Summer Bucket List!

I am excited to share my second layout I made with the July Double-Shot kit from The ScrapRoom!  This one is a double pager and uses the Photo Play Summer Bucket List kit! I just loved this line, this is my first time to use a line by Photo Play and I have to say it won't be my last!!  Here is the amazing Double-shot July kit:

Here is my layout using the Photo Play Summer Bucket List kit:

Supplies Used: FROM KIT: Yellow card stock, white card stock; Patterned Paper- Photo Play Summer Bucket List; Stickers: Summer Bucket List by Photo Play; FROM MY STASH: enamel dots; blue card stock; embossing folder

I had fun using awesome pictures of my BFF and her family having fun this past June.  I don't do a lot of double pagers but when I do I like to use a lot of different sized photos for interest.  Here are a few close ups of the layout:
I added extra hearts from the sticker sheet to the 4 x 6 cut apart card and then popped up the sun and ferris wheel stickers to give added dimension.  I also embossed the yellow circle to give more texture.

I love the addition of enamel dots to all my layouts, it really dresses up your embellishment clusters!

I hope you will check out all the layouts created using this kit and the Flavors of the Month kit for July, they did an outstanding job with the kits!  Check back next week when I share my other layout and the cards I made with this amazing kit.  To purchase yours make sure and visit The ScrapRom store!

July Doubleshot kit - Simple Stories Domestic Bliss

Hello!  I am so excited to share with you my first reveal as a design team member of the ScrapRoom Kit Club!   I was blessed to be able to work with the Double-shot Kit Club for July.  This is an amazing kit!  Here is peek at the kit:

Here is my layout using the Simple Stories Domestic Bliss line:

Supplies Used: FROM THE KIT: White cardstock- American Crafts; Patterned Paper- Simple Stories Domestic Bliss; Simple Stories Bits N Pieces; Simple Stories Stickers (broom, oven mitt, washer, grocery cart & laundry basket)  FROM MY STASH: button - Stampin' Up, rhinestone- Queen & Co; letter stickers- Doodlebug & Echo Park

I just love these pictures of my son when he was younger! What a helper he was back then and how time flies!  Now it is like pulling teeth to get him to do a simple chore or help out around the house!!! I am going to have to show him these pictures of his little domestic self once he gets his own place and remind him of his love of cooking, cleaning and ironing!   I added a bunch of journaling on the back, I had so much to say that I didn't have room on the layout.  Don't you love this line? I had such a great time playing with it! I could think of a lot of ideas for it: house renovation pictures, new appliances, everyday life; cooking, layout about a favorite recipe, the sky is the limit!  And if you don't want to be so themed with this line it would be a perfect line for just regular photos about your family or kids! The small stickers and bits 'n pieces are great for your planner as well!   I know you will love this kit as much as I did!  To purchase yours make sure and visit The ScrapRoom Store today!  I will be back later in the week to show you the rest of the my creations using this fun kit!  Make sure and visit the Scrap Room blog or the Scrap Room store to check out what the other DT members did with the amazing kits!!
