Card sketch #4

Happy Friday everyone!  Sketch N Scrap's last sketch of the month is up- YIKES! it's almost July!- so I wanted to help you start your weekend out right with some scrappy inspiration!  Here is the card sketch by me:

Here is my example using this sketch:

Supplies used: Cardstock- Stampin Up: Very Vanilla, Soft Sky & Chocolate Chip; Patterned
Paper: Stampin Up; punches: Stampin Up; Stamp: Stampin Up; ink: chocolate chip by Stampin Up;
Embossing folder: fan by Stampin Up.

I just love this sentiment stamp!  It is my favorite for birthdays!  I don't even know who I am going to give this card to yet, but it is always nice to have a bunch of birthday cards on hand, as I am terrible about remembering people's birthdays and am always needing a last minute card!   There are still 9 days left to play along with our four monthly sketches at Sketch N Scrap, so hop on over and check out what the DT did with this card sketch and get inspired to get a jump start on stockpiling some cards up for those last minute occasions!  TGIF!

Sketch N Scrap #35 & a winner!

Can you believe we are half way through June already? I can't! Before I know it the summer will be over, I need to get going on my summer bucket list!  Today we have another fun sketch for you over a Sketch N Scrap!  Here is the sketch by Brenshevia:

And here is my layout using the sketch:
Supplies Used: Patterned papers: Cosmo Cricket Dutch Girl; alphabets: Paper Trunk(white & green),
Doodlebug (black), Fancy Pants (yellow); Sticker: Basic Grey Bowties line; border punch: Stampin Up.

I have had these pictures of my sweet little nephew sitting on my desk for over a year now waiting for the right inspiration for them...I finally found it in that cute little bug sticker I purchased with the Basic Grey Bowtie line over the weekend at the Great American Scrapbook Convention! Weird thing was I wanted to use up these papers from an old kit I have had since 2007 and the scraps left were perfect for this sketch and the sticker actually matched...LOVE IT when things come together like that! lol!  I am now down to scraps for this kit and hope to make a few cards t finish it up over the weekend.

Now a moment you have all been waiting for!  Thanks to everyone who participated in my KIT SEQUEL and SKETCH WITH A TWIST birthday bash challenges for Sketch N Scrap's birthday bash!  We had a total of 14 entries!  The randomly selected winner for the Webster's pages washi tape is..........................

Sketch N Scrap #34

Happy June everyone!  Are you ready for summer?  We are, the pool is calling our name and we heading out to swim today if the rain holds off!  What are your plans for the summer?  Today is time to share another fun sketch with you from Sketch N Scrap!  I had a lot of fun playing with this one.  Here is my sketch:

Pin It! Here is the layout I created with it:

Supplies Used: Pattern Papers: Basic Grey (background) & Echo Park (For the Record 2 & This & That);
stickers: Echo Park For the Record 2; wood shapes: Studio Calico (stars) and Michaels (flower);
washi tape: Michaels; punch: Stampin Up (photo corner punch); alphabets: Echo Park For the Record 2
& PaperTrunk Benny; button: Jenni Bowlin; stars: Jillibean Soup & Making Memories (felt); twine- unknown

These pictures are of my nephew learning to ride his new "big boy bike" last month.  He can really fly on that thing!  I am really loving this line from Echo Park, not sure why I have been hoarding it, it is too cute not to use!  I know you will be impressed with what the DT at Sketch N Scrap had done with this layout! Go check it out and play along for a chance to win a set of flairs from A Flair for Buttons!
Also don't forget to vote for our July's layout Guest Designer at Sketch N Scrap!  Some awesome layouts using our first ever sketch!  And don't forget to play along with my two remaining birthday bash challenges a SKETCH WITH A TWIST
and
both close on June 14th...so get your summer started by playing along and getting some layouts completed for your books!  Enjoy!
