Welcome to the Paper Trufflez Team Blog Hop. The participants in this hop will be highlighting new products from the 2018 Holiday Expressions catalog. If you have come from Denise’s blog, you are on the right path.   The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here. It’s really simple to hop along with us. Simply click on the link at the end of each blog post to move to the next one.
Those of you who know me know I LOVE Fall!  So it won't come as to big of surprise to my friends and followers that I chose to use the Grateful Heart Collection for my projects today!  Here are the cards I made with this amazing collection:

Don't you just love these beautiful colors?  I fell in love with this collection the minute I saw it!  These papers are very versatile, in all honesty you could use all but TWO of the papers for any season!  Here is a close up of the papers included in the Grateful Heart collection:
I also used the Grateful Heart complements on my cards.  You get 2 sets of very thin chipboard and 2 sheets of stickers!  The butterfly on my first card and the flower on my second card are stickers.
Next up is the fun little tag I used on my first card.  I used our Fancy Tags Thin cuts to make it. This is one of the most versatile set of dies I have purchased in a long time! This set of tags has faux stitching around the edges and the shapes are so unique and gorgeous! I have found myself using them over and over again on all sorts of projects!  I love the look of the tags.  In case you are hesitant about the holes as I was, notice I covered up the hole on the tag used in the first card with my butterfly!  It's easy to do but of course you can also add ribbon, an enamel dot, a button or a brad to the hole as well!
For my first card I used a fun stamp set called Bunches of Love . I used two of the words for my sentiment.  I LOVE these sentiments! I have cut them out and adhered them to my tag.  Plus this beautiful flower is another must have, you will use it for any type of occasion card and even scrapbook embellishments!

And last but of course not least I also used the Boutique card making stamp set on my second card for the sentiment: CHOOSE JOY.  This set is so pretty, I love all 3 of the beautiful sentiments! And to finish off both cards with a little sparkle I added a gold glitter dot!

Now “hop” on over to Amy’s blog to see her fabulous artwork. Be sure to visit all the Consultants in the hop to get some fun creative ideas. If you get lost along the way, here is a list of participants. Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!

Card sketch #131

Happy hump day!  Today I am sharing a card I made using the October 5th card sketch at Sketch N Scrap!  This card sketch is so versatile!  Here is the sketch by Heather:

Here is my card using the sketch:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Bella Blvd To cute to Spook & CTMH basics (purple dot); card stock: White & Black-CTMH; circle dies: Stampin' Up; stamp: September 2018 Stamp of the Month- CTMH; ink: black- CTMH; cat- Doodlebug Designs Pumpkin Party Doodlepop; enamel dot: CTMH; letter stickers: Making Memories; and Halloween word sticker: Bella Blvd To Cute to Spook
I had so much fun digging out this old Halloween paper out of my 100 paper challenge pile!  I was able to use up a bit more of it and am down to just a few sheets of half used papers now...hoping to get pictures of my nephew in his Halloween costume and make a layout using up the rest of these papers this year!  The letter stickers are VERY OLD by Making Memories and have cobwebs on them! They are fun but I have a lot left!  So glad to find a use for them, they are in my Bashket this month! This stamp set called JUST TREATS is so adorable!  It has so many fun sentiments and I was excited to use it...alas it is retired now and unfortunately I didn't get to use it in September but I know I will use it moving forward!  Make sure and hop on over to the Sketch N Scrap blog to see the other amazing cards the DT made using this sketch, and while you are there why not play along?  Happy creating!

October Flavors of the Month kit at The ScrapRoom ~ Pumpkin Party by Doodlebug Designs

Hello!! The week is winding down and I am super excited about the weekend as it is World Card Making Day on Saturday!!  Today I am sharing my layout I created using the Pumpkin Party mini kit by Doodlebug Designs found in The ScrapRoom Flavors of the month kit.  Here is entire kit:
Here is the mini kit I used for my layout:

Here is my layout using this kit:
Supplies Used: Black cardstock- from the kit & from my stash- Goldrush & Pansy - CTMH and Lime- Stampin' Up;  Patterned Paper: Doodlebug Designs Pumpkin Party- from the kit; ephemera: Doodlebug Designs-from the kit; enamel dots: Doodlebug Designs- black & googly eyes- from the kit & purple & orange- My Mind's Eye -from my stash; die: stitched circle -CTMH from my stash.; letter stickers: Doodlebug Designs & Paper Trunnk - from my stash
I love how this layout turned out!  I don't buy Halloween papers anymore because my son it to old to dress up but I find myself always drawn to Halloween papers, they are so fun!!  Doodlebug always has the best Halloween lines because they aren't so creepy & scary but rather cute and fun!  I was happy when I got the cute little cat trick or treater in my kit and immediately thought of these pictures of my niece trick or treating back in 2015 dressed as a cute little kitty kat!!  My favorite part of the kit was the googly eye enamel dots!  You may have missed them on the pumpkin and bat but they are super cute and I will be buying myself some more of them, I don't think they are just for Halloween!  I hope you will go visit The ScrapRoom blog to see what the other DT members did with this fun kit!  I believe there are still some kits available as well, so check out The ScrapRoom store to get yours today! Happy creating!

Happy October!! I can't believe it's the start of a new month already!  Time to share my ScrapRoom layouts for October!  First let's take a look at the amazing and wonderful October Flavors of the Month kit at The ScrapRoom!  Here it is:
Every month there is a fun new sketch for club members to use for inspiration.  This month's sketch is by Suzanna Lee.  My layout is based on this fun sketch!

Here is my layout using the My Mind's Eye Girl meets Glam part of the kit:
Supplies Used: Cream Card stock: from the kit & black card stock- from my stash; Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye Girl Meets Glam- from the kit; chipboard accents: My Mind's Eye Girl Meets Glam- from the kit; gold enamel heart: Teresa Collins- from my stash; inks: Stampin' Up: Pool Party, Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink- from my stash; ephemera (heart): My Mind's Eye Girl Meets Glam- from the embellishment kit
Here is fun embellishment kit where I got the large heart at the top of the layout:

These papers are super FUN! I loved the pops of gold which are hard to see in the photograph but add so much to the papers and embellishments!  I immediately thought of these pictures of my niece getting her first highlights 2 years ago when I saw these papers and they worked beautifully!
