Paper Trufflez Blog Hop ~ Everything Christmas!!

Welcome to the Paper Trufflez Team Blog Hop. The theme for this hop is “Everything Christmas.” If you have come from Cecilia's blog, you are on the right path. The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here. It’s really simple to hop along with us. Simply click on the link at the end of each blog post to move to the next one.

Today I am sharing a fun card I made using the Tis the Season paper packet.
I knew I wanted to use it for my Christmas cards the minute I saw it, the patterns and colors are so elegant!! Here is my card made using these beautiful papers:
Supplies Used:  Card base- CTMH; Patterned Paper- CTMH Tis the Season; Cardstock: White & Candy Apple- CTMH; gems: Gold Glitter -CTMH; Thin Cuts: Fancy Tags & Stitched Circle- CTMH
As you can see I used the new Fancy Tags Thin Cuts to cut out my circle element.  I decided the white was to stark so I added a large stitched circle to the inside to make it more colorful.  I love this look, AND the stitched circle hides the hole in the tag that I wanted to cover up.  I didn't want to add ribbon to this tag as I need to mail it and didn't want it to be so bulky.

Now for my second project using the Tis the Season paper packet.....I have actually bought ONE Christmas gift for my niece and decided to wrap it early as she has a way of finding my "hidden" gifts when she visits!! I wanted to make a pretty handmade tag for her special gift so I created this fun tag:
Supplies Used: Cardstock: CTMH- White Daisy & New England Ivy; Thin Cuts: Fancy Tags- CTMH; Patterned Paper: Tis the Season- CTMH; gems: Gold Glitter Gems- CTMH;  twine: White & Gold Twine- CTMH; gold cording: my stash
Once again I am using this fun set of Thin Cuts- Fancy Tags!! This is such a fun set of dies and I  can't stop making pretty things with them!  I fussy cut the stocking from one of the cut apart cards and the sentiment is also included on the cut apart sheet...the perfect embellishments!  As you can see I did NO stamping on either project!! Now don't get me wrong, I love to stamp but sometimes I don't have the time to do it and I know others are the same way so I decided to showcase fast and easy projects for this blog hop, after all with the hustle & bustle of the holidays we can all use cute, fast and SIMPLE projects can't we?
Now “hop” on over to Andrea’s blog, to see her fabulous artwork. Be sure to visit all the Consultants in the hop to get some fun creative ideas. If you get lost along the way, here is a list of participants. Thanks for stopping by!

November Flavors of the Month kit~ Pebbles Along the Way

The week seems to be whizzing by! So weird to have it be so dark when I get off work now!  So today I am sharing another layout using the Pebbles Along the Way line by Jen Hadfield.  Have I mentioned that Jen Hadfield is one of my favorite designers? That girl has more talent in her pinkie then I have in my whole body!!!  I love and adore any line she does!! Here is the part of the larger kit I used for today's layout:

Here is the ENTIRE Flavors of the Month kit for November at The ScrapRoom:

Here is my layout using the kit:
Supplies Used: Black card stock: from the kit; Patterned Paper: Pebbles Along the Way - from the November Flavors of the month kit; ephemera: Pebbles Along the Way- from the November Flavors of the month kit; letter stickers: American Craft Thickers- from my stash; enamel dots: My Mind's Eye- from my stash; wood veneer embellishment- From the November Flavors of the month kit.
I just love this sweet picture of my friends little granddaughter!  What pretty smiles these two lovely gals have don't you think? I love how the black background pops the picture and the papers!  I was a bit skeptical about black with this paper at first but it looks amazing! To purchase your own November Flavors of the Month kit make sure and visit the store at The ScrapRoom.  To see more inspiring layouts created by the uber talented DT using this line visit The ScrapRoom blog! Have a creative day!

Sketch N Scrap Card sketch #133

Hello creative friends! I hope you have been enjoying some "me" time lately getting creative!  Today I am sharing more cards created with Sketch N Scrap's card sketch #133 by sketch artist Heather! Here is her sketch:

Here are TWO more cards I created using this amazing sketch:
Supplies Used: card base: CTMH; Cardstock: CTMH; Patterned Paper: CTMH Grateful Heart collection; sticker/die cut (sentiment): CTMH Grateful Heart complements; doily: Stampin' Up.

Supplies Used: card base: CTMH; Paper Paper: Pinkfresh Studio Let your Heart Decide & CTMH (pink "x's"); heart- fussy cut from patterned paper Pinkfresh Studios Let your Heart Decide; doily: Stampin' Up; sentiment: Lisa Bearnson card kit
As you can see I just can't get enough of this sketch!  So far the count is THREE cards using one sketch and I think they all have a different feel/look to them when using different supplies don't you?  I was able to use up all of my scrap except a few fussy cut pieces from this Pinkfresh Studios line from my April 2018 Flavors of the month kit at The ScrapRoom!  I just loved this line and hate to use it all up but alas the scraps are piling up and I must use them lest they overtake my scrap room! And since my scrap area is my kitchen I think that was a smart move lol!  Paper and stoves don't mix well!  If you would like to see my third card using this sketch see my past blog post HERE. Remember you have until November 30th at 9:55 pm CST to link up your projects using our sketches at the Sketch N Scrap blog!  I hope I have inspired you today!  Stay creative!
