The ScrapRoom November Doubleshot kit

I'm back again today with another layout using the November Doubleshot kit!  This time I am using the Bella Blvd Gratitude Documented kit!  What a fun kit this was! I really enjoyed the unique colors of this kit!  The pops of pink in this kit are so fun for a Fall themed kit!   Here is the kit:

And here is my layout using the kit:
Supplies Used: Card stock- Bazzill (from the kit); Patterned Paper- Bella Blvd Gratitude document (from the kit); die cuts & clips- Bella Blvd Gratitude Documented (from the kit); clear stickers - Bella Blvd Gratitude Docmented (from the kit); Die- Family - CTMH (from my stash); small letter stickers- Making Memories (from my stash).

This was such a fun afternoon in 2009 on Thanksgiving Day!  The weather was so beautiful we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon outside feeding the ducks!  The clips and clear stickers included in this kit are so fun, I know this one will be a hit with everyone who receives it! To see what other wonderful layouts the DT created using this fun kit check out the ScrapRoom blog HERE.  If you are interested in seeing this kit up close and personal or purchasing it for yourself make sure and visit the ScrapRoom store to see all the fun goodies available there!  Happy creating friends!

The ScrapRoom November Double Shot kit

November is flying by and the holidays are almost upon us!  I am a bit late posting this layout using my Doubleshot November kit featuring the Simple Stories line Vintage Blessings, but I can say this kit is super fun and as always very inspiring!  I love Fall and so of course you know this kit is going to be one of my favorites for the year!  Here is the kit:

And here is my layout using the kit:

Supplies Used: Cardstock- Bazzill (from the kit); Patterned Paper- Simple Stories Vintage Blessings (from the kit); Chip board stickers- Simple Stories Vintage Blessings (from the kit); Letter stickers: Pebbles(small) & Doodlebug Designs (blessed- from my stash)
We took this picture on self timer last year while I was visiting my brother, SIL and nephew in Nebraska and I liked it so much I had been waiting for the "perfect" papers to use to scrap it with and I am so glad I waited because this line is just amazing and I love the way it turned out!  If you are interested in seeing more of what the other DT members did with the kit visit the ScrapRoom blog HERE.  To purchase your own kit to work wonders with visit the ScrapRoom store HERE.

Sketches in Thyme- Project Lifestyle sketch #90

I am having so much fun with the sketches over at the Sketches in Thyme Project Lifestyle blog!  Have you checked it out yet?  I have enjoyed doing some "Project Life" style pocket scrapbooking layouts but this time around I had been working on my faith planner and was inspired to create a layout for that!  Here is the amazing sketch by Emma Prescott:

Here is my 4 x 6 "card" created with the sketch:

Here is my completed 6 x 8 layout for my faith planner.  I am using a CTMH everyday album that has 6 x 8 page proctors in it.  I also plan on adding some just plain pages that include a spot for prayer lists and sermon notes as well.
Supplies Used: Cardstock: Whisper White by Stampin' Up; Patterned Paper: Illustrated Faith She Blooms; Sticker (flower): Illustrated Faith She Blooms; Letter Stickers: Illustrated Faith (pink), Basic Grey (small); embossing folder: Sizzix; enamel heart: Teresa Collins; quote sticker (be fearless)- Illustrated Faith; washi tape: Queen & Co (yellow)

I had so much using this sketch, it made my project so  much easier! If you are not a pocket page scrapbooker and think this site isn't for you, you may want to reconsider, there are so many possibilities with these smaller scale version sketches- cards, embellishments, journaling cards for your traditional scrapbook layouts, planners etc...the list can go on as far as your imagination can dream!!!  I have always been so interested in Bible jounaling by fount it to not be for me (I just can't doodle in my Bible!) and so when I found Cori Spieker's  (The Reset Girl) videos on You Tube I was entranced with her planners, listing, traveler's notebooks etc.  I attended one of her classes and was HOOKED!  Finally, a way to use my scrapbooking/crafting supplies and study my scripture! I am also having fun with her lists and list prompts and have also started a traveler's notebook!  I will share that soon!  I may not be doing everything the way my pal Cori does it but I am putting my own twist on it and having fun with it, which is what is the most important!  I hope to bring you more of my traveler's notebook lists and faith planner soon, so stay tuned!  Don't forget to check out what the other DT members did with the sketch at the Sketches in Thyme Project Lifestyle blog! Be creative friends!
