July Flavors of the Month kit~ Double page layout!

Good evening crafty friends!! Today I am sharing a double page layout I created using the super fun July Flavors of the month kit from The ScrapRoom!!  Here is a reminder of the full kit:

Here is the Simple Stories Cruisin' line that I used to create my layout:
Here is my layout created using this fun line:
Supplies used: card stock: black- from the kit; Patterned Paper: Simple Stories Cruisin'- from the kit; ephemera- Simple Stories Cruisin' -from the kit; enamel dots: My Mind's Eye-from my stash; bakers twine: Lawn Fawn- from my stash
I haven't been on a cruise lately and since I just loved the fun cruise theme I decided to use these pictures of my friend and her hubby on their Viking River Cruise from last Fall!  I would love to go on one of these cruises, they look so fun!!  I do think you can use this line for things other then cruise pictures though, pool pics, beach pics or even just everyday pics due to the nautical theme to the paper which is pretty generic in all honesty!! I just had to use the "Seas the day" words as my title though, how fun is that play on words???!!!!  Make sure and visit The ScrapRoom blog to see the other amazing double page layouts the DT has created with this wonderful kit, lots and lots of eye candy there!!  Happy creating!!

I participated in Camp Wanna Craft this Summer and it was SOOO much fun!! Camp Wanna Craft is a virtual crafty camp put on by The Reset Girl and her creative team.  Everything is in one big forum where you can join "cabins" of like minded campers (I joined a Texas gals cabin), post and share your projects to inspire others, answer questions of the day to get to know other campers, and learn TONS of new techniques through instructional videos.  I participated with old friends and made some new friends!  We had a camp "handbook" to guide us and made a junk journal within our camp handbook using techniques we learned during camp!  I had fun decorating my "cabin" at home which was the desk in my kitchen. Having a fun decorated space made creating fun and more relaxing!  We even had movie nights (we watched movies together virtually), a face mask night, chapel time and some really fun lives on Facebook where we were able to craft together virtually! My spread for this challenge documents my "cabin".  I used a bunch of the printables from The Reset Girl from the Camp Wanna Craft collection on my spread....those super cute journaling tags were part of that collection and I just love them!!  I am sure you will be seeing more of my camp pictures in upcoming spreads!!
Here are a few close ups:

Happy birthday USA!!

Happy Independence Day to all my American crafty friends!! I hope your day will be filled with family time, good food, and fireworks!!  Today I am sharing a layout I made using the SUPER fun July kit at The ScrapRoom!!  Here is the full kit:

Here is the Bella Blvd Fireworks & Freedom kit that I used for my layout:

Here is my layout using the amazing line:
Supplies Used: Patterned Paper: Bella Blvd Fireworks & Freedom from the kit; Card stock: White- CTMH - from my stash; punch: notebook border punch- Stampin' Up; ephemera: Bella Blvd Fireworks & Freedom- from the kit; bling- from the kit; ink: Memento black- from my stash; stamp (happy birthday) Stampin' Up- from my stash
I loved the beautiful bright colors and lovely patterns of this kit!! I decided to go with lots of color for this layout so I used a full piece of patterned paper for my background.  I used the letters that came in my kit (USA) and created a title from them by stamping the words "happy birthday" in black ink on  piece of white cardstock. The kit came with lovely rhinestone lines that I cut apart and use to embellish my fireworks and stars.  I know you will love this kit!!  Make sure and head over to the ScrapRoom blog to see all the beautiful layouts the DT created wtih this kit.  Enjoy your holiday and happy creating!!!!

Quick & Easy Cards with 3D stickers from Paper House Productions!!

Good morning everyone!! Today I am showing you some super fun quick cards I made using a set of super amazing 3D stickers from Paper House Productions!!
Supplies Used: Cardstock: Stampin' Up- Soft Sky, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Basic Blakc; stickers: 3D Panda stickers from Paper House Productions; dies: CTMH- heart & Doily, Stampin' Up- rectangle; stamps: CTMH (it's your day) and Stampin' Up (happy birthday small & large); inks: Stampin' Up- Soft Sky, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz, and black
For my first card I used blue and pink ink to make ink splatters on a white base.  I then stamped my large sentiment on my die cut rectangle and had my sweet panda placed as if he is "peeking" over the edge of the rectangle, how cute is that?!!!

These sweet 3D panda stickers make the cutest birthday cards don't you think?  For this card I used the "smooshing" technique to make my background and added some ink splatters.

For this last card I changed up my color scheme to pop the green of the bamboo stalk.  I dry embossed my background and to give more visual interest I used repetitive stamping on my sentiment in 2 different colors of ink!  I love having my main images popped up and "hanging" off my main focal point (in this case the die cut doily) to make my cards more eye catching!!
I'd love to see your cards using 3D stickers!!  Link up in the comments to share!! Have a blessed week my crafty friends! I'll pop back on soon to share my other fun projects I have been working on these past few weeks!  Happy creating!!
