Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure ~ March edition!

Happy March! It's a new month and time to launch another fun edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure!  I did not do well on using my kit last month, life was super busy with sickness for my family and myself, jury duty and work which was super chaotic this month, so I didn't get to use my kit much.  2025 is not off to the start that I wanted but it's a new month and a chance to start anew!! So without further adieu let's kick off the March 2025 edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2025!!

Here is how our 2025 challenge works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kit as possible on different projects. Then, somewhere along the way we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2025. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog My Happy Life (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our Stash Bash kit recipe for this month:

Here is my kit for this month:
I plan to make dividers for my 2025 junk journal using this kit.  I also will use some of the embellishments to embellish my March pages in my junk journal.

Here is a close up of the 10 papers I picked for this kit:
These papers are from Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic collection (hot air balloons), The Hip Kit Club's Flourish collection (black scrolls, green diamonds & blue floral), 49th & Market's Kaleidoscope collection (word paper), Pink Paislee's Joyful Notes (multi colored floral), Pink Paislee's Wild Child Collection (cloud/multi & multi stars papers), Vicki Boutin's Discover & Create collection (tan circle paper) & Crate Paper's Moonlight Magic collection (Map multi paper).  Most of these papers I either never had embellishments to go with or no longer have many embellishments left from the collection, so it will be nice to use up some of these "straggler" papers I've had in my stash for awhile.  It was fun to see how well they coordinated with each other!

Here are my embellishments:
Most of these embellishments are left overs from my ScrapRoom kits and Hip Kit Club kits that I never used.  The 6 x 12 sticker sheet is from Shimelle's Main Character collection, the smaller sticker sheets are from Vicki Boutin (I can't remember the name of this collection), The borders are from The Hip Kit's Flourish collection and the scattered embellishments are from 49th & Market and Vicki Boutin (left overs from ScrapRoom kits) and the ephemera in the box are from Vicki Boutin Print Shop collection.  I'm especially excited to use these borders, they have been stumping me for awhile now and I think they will look great in my junk journal and possibly planner!

Now for a close up of my scraps:
Some of these scraps are super old!  The only scrap I know for sure where it is from is the doily paper which is from Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic collection.  The others are from Vicki Boutin, Echo Park, Simple Stories, Bo Bunny and PhotoPlay but I cannot remember the collections.  Some are from my ScrapRoom kits that I used everything but a few scraps and the black floral is from a very old Personalscrapper kit (early 2000's)!  I think these will work well in my junk journal OR to make some cards!

And finally my stash bash items (Alphas):
I dug DEEP in my stash to find these alphas!  I have a folder where I keep 12 x 12 alpha sticker sheets and since it is buried in my scrap closet, I hardly ever drag it out and use them, so this month I decided to do just that!  These are from collections that I have "disbanded" and put in my sticker files since I have either no paper of just scraps of papers left from them! These alphas are from Echo Park Everyday Eclectic, Jenni Bowlin (OLD!), Echo Park This & That Boy, Echo Park Creative Agenda, Echo Park This & That Girl, Echo Park For the Record, Pink Paislee Everyday Musings, & American Craft Thickers.  So many alphas I don't think I need to buy any in the near future for sure!

Here are the rules for 2025:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!
This month's stash bash item is: Alphas
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2025
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join Lori and myself as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2025.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!
