Card sketch #68

February is flying by isn't it?  I can't believe it is time for our last sketch of the month again at Sketch N Scrap!  I loves this wonderful sketch by Heather, so many possibilities!
Here is the sketch:

And here is my take on the sketch:

Supplies Used:  Patterned Paper: Crate Paper, card stock: Stampin' Up; die: Stampin' Up; stamp: Stampin' Up;
wood veneer: Studio Calico; enamel dots: Teresa Collins; ink: Night of Navy by Stampin' Up.

I got this wonderful 6x6 paper pad in a secret Santa swap at the holidays and I have to say it has been my all time favorite (thanks Willa Jean!).  I just love the prints and colors, so vintage looking!  I die cut the sentiment frame using my framelit label dies by Stampin' Up.  I had an old journal card that was really big and said something like "A day at the park" on the side....well I knew I most likely would never use it (heck, if you haven't used it in over 3 years you most likely aren't going to! lol!) so I decided the colors were perfect to stamp my sentiment on so I was able to die cut 2 of these from the one journal box and make two identical cards!  So glad to be using up my stash!  I hope you will find time to play along with us this month, even though it is a short month there is still over a week to play along!  Make sure and check out all the amazing ideas the DT came up with using this sketch as well!  Happy card making friends!

  1. I just love everything about this card! The colors and the patterns mix so well together, and I can't believe your sentiment label wasn't a paper from the pad - it matches perfectly! Way to go using up more stash!
